Fast forward 3 years she sees my engagement announcement to another woman. My ex calls and tells me that leaving me was the biggest mistake of her life.

Shocker.

It's rp 101, that thread, but go tell them that and they won't believe.

But. . . but. . .but why would you want to do that 30? these chicks are leaving a life of magic and wonder and you want to destroy that? How dare you.

Like this bitch said

It captures just that undertone of existential tragedy inherent in the striving of imperfect beings toward a perfect love, and conveys just that sense and suggestion of what real hope and love must look like and play out in human experience.

And this bitch

I was sucked into that like a sappy duckling, like I was reading it out of a Nickolas Sparks book. You should write a book about your story. I would read it and watch the movie when/if it came out and I would cry EVERY time! Aww!!!

And this bitch

You've experienced true love that you can never have again. Craig will never have your heart. Paul will never have you. You couldn't write a better romantic dramedy movie if you tried.

And this bitch

Thank you for sharing your story and showing us that you CAN still be happy and loyal, even if life doesn't take you quite the way you thought it would. It must take a lot to resist the temptation to speak to him again, and I give you a lot of respect for not doing so.

This is not real life, okay 30? This is a book or a "dramedy", love is only for the woman and as long as she has a beta to provide and do as she says, that is true love. You know what? you just don't get it 30!

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Remove the gender and this could be anyone. Generally, the person we love the most is definitely not someone healthy enough to be around all the time.

I have a nice girl now but I definitely don't love her as much as an old psycho Soprano Italian bitch flame of my youth.

RP theory is great but sometimes I think people forget the humanity outside of gender. The battle of testosterone and estrogen is an important thing to discuss but we are all still HUMAN.

[–]Areimanes 116 points117 points118 points 12 years ago* (37 children) | Copy Link

But… when I think about “when I fell in love” all the moments belong to Paul. Every time my daughter asks “tell me about love” it’s hard not to tell her about Paul. Because I knew what it was like to REALLY love someone romantically. I have a different kind of love for my husband. I know he thinks we were “meant to be” and I’m his “soul mate” but I can’t shake the thought that my soul mate is a man I can never speak to again.

When I was still plugged in, this was always my greatest fear - having some woman settle for me after she'd gone through every ride at the local fair and only loving me for what I could 'bring' to the table.

If there's still a man who believes in the typical love story as formed by Hollywood: stop living in denial and read this thread.

My blood pressure is elevated just by reading this shit, because there are plenty of good men slaving away their lives for wives that don't really love their husbands. Eventually that will come to a halt when their wives can't take it any more (after 'giving him everything and more') and divorce rape the guy while riding the CC once again looking for that 'true love'.

Here's an update from her in the same thread:

Also know that I do love Craig, in fact... I think I love him in a deeper and more profound way than I loved Paul. You really learn the depths of yourself when you're submursed in "doing the right thing". Don't be afraid of being Craig. I can assure you he's happy and so am I. I think, even if he knew how I felt, he would work with me in couseling to continue our marriage. He knows that I'm commited to him.

I am speechless. I can't form any words. The hamster in her is so massive, it might crush the very fabric of the universe.

I began planning my way out of the relationship. I was very ready to be with Paul. I didn’t deserve another chance and I knew how lucky I was. Unfortunately, life had different plans. Not more than a couple of days later, a positive pregnancy test sealed my fate. I was pregnant. I had already been pregnant when Paul called and I just didn’t know it. It wasn’t fair for me to expect Paul to take care of a child that wasn’t his and I knew that Craig would be a wonderful father and had always wanted children. So, that’s the life I chose.I told Paul the situation, it was a difficult conversation, things were said that were hurtful, between the two of us.

I absolutely love stories like this. What I took away from this story was quite different than what was posted in the OT. There were plenty of people who were outraged, and said "oh poor craig" because Craig was deprived of his true love. She was ready to jump ship and realized she was pregnant. She still went to Paul and told him that, in the hopes that he would "man up" for his love and take her anyways. Paul being an alpha, did no such thing. So now she "made the choice" of being with her beta provider who was stable and safe and clueless of the situation. Craig got exactly what he deserves, a loveless safe marriage that will most likely end as soon as the child is grown up.

[–]2johnnight 8 points9 points10 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What is left for guys like Craig is to harden their hearts and consider the wife a paid incubator and nanny for the child. The child deserves his love.

[–]blazingcopper 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And the pregnancy "just happened unintentionally"

[–]1independentmale 55 points56 points57 points 12 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

The really fucked up part here is the life her poor husband Craig has to lead. His happy wife is a complete lie. She thinks about Paul every day while forcing smiles and sex with her husband.

Deep inside, he knows he's second best to her. He just can't admit it or hasn't fully figured it out yet, but one day this fantasy will come crashing down on both of them and their children.

[–]dsav2 32 points33 points34 points 12 years ago* (5 children) | Copy Link

The disturbing part is that this is somehow a great romance to /r/askWomen... How can their brains rationalize this as something other than a gigantic betrayal?

She settled for Craig for the money, while constantly dreaming of getting pummeled by Paul. And we're supposed to feel sorry for her?

Section 3. Beatrice and Dante of article Beatrice Portinari:

According to Dante, he first met Beatrice when his father took him to the Portinari house for a May Day party. At the time, Beatrice was eight years old, a year younger than Dante. Dante was instantly taken with her and remained so throughout her life even though she married another man, banker Simone dei Bardi, in 1287. Beatrice died three years after the marriage in June 1290 at the age of 24. Dante continued to hold an abiding love and respect for the woman after her death, even after he married Gemma Donati in 1285 and had children. After Beatrice's death, Dante withdrew into intense study and began composing poems dedicated to her memory. The collection of these poems, along with others he had previously written in his journal in awe of Beatrice, became La Vita Nuova.

She thinks about Paul every day while forcing smiles and sex with her husband

The thing that really disgusts me is that she most likely fantasizes about Paul while being with Craig and he is none the wiser.

She even mentions in a comment that she is going to go see a psychiatrist about this because of the guilt, so again she's going to have to deceive Craig because why would she need to go see a psychiatrist when they have such a wonderful marriage; or she has to tell him, which I would assume at that point would ruin their marriage, unless he is really that beta.

It really is revolting. People in that thread saying her story made them cry, like it's this tragic romance. Holy fucking shit. It is shit like this that makes men hate women.

[–]Areimanes 23 points24 points25 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Deep inside, he knows he's second best to her. He just can't admit it or hasn't fully figured it out yet

I'm guessing a form of the latter. He might think there's something wrong, but he will look at the wrong person - himself instead of her - to blame. Women can be great actresess if they give you emotional validation - what betas crave more than anything - all the while secretly despising you.

[–]1independentmale 52 points53 points54 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You nailed it. He looks to himself because she gaslights the fuck out of him. Her attitude is "there's nothing wrong and if you think there is, you're the one with the problem." It's how they operate.

I should know, I was married to one for 15 years who didn't start loving me until I became successful and started making progress on my climb out of betaville. Got my first blow job from her a week after I told her I wanted a divorce. The first 14 years she was a "good girl" who "didn't do that." She sucked me on the daily for about a year but it was too little, too late. I left her ass anyway. Nothing she could have said or done would have made up for a decade and a half of cruelty.

I disagree. When the kids are grown, out of the house, and finished with college, Mom is going to have a titanic mid-life crisis. The divorce settlement will be epic.

[–]bitchdantkillmyvibe 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yep. Vows don't mean shit anymore. That's how it would have played out fifty years ago, but now with the stigma surrounding divorce almost non-existent, that cunt will drop him as soon as those kids ship out, and Craig will have a crisis of gargantuan proportions. And people wonder why we see these double homicides.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I hope that it ends that way. The guy is living in blissful ignorance that I wouldn't want to disrupt.

If there's still a man who believes in the typical love story as formed by Hollywood: stop living in denial and read this thread.

Some co-workers were rambling on about How I Met Your Mother this week as the finale is upon us. Unfortunately, I've been subjected to some of this show as one of my plates watches it a lot after we bone.

That show summarizes the Blue Pill to the 9th degree. A fucking blue pill fantasy through and through. The main guy, Ted, is such a blue pill beta that it's painful to watch how clueless he is. But then again, the whole show's narrative is that he'll get his happily ever after and I'm sure beta's and douchers everywhere cling to that fantasy.

I also saw an episode where the red-head chick tells her husband that she settled for him and he reached for her. WTF? She's a hard 5, 6 at best if you like gingers, and in the show a Kindergarten teacher. He's a Columbia Law graduate. Wtf? He's way beyond her in any sense of the imagination.

I'm also starting to think that Reddit's narrative that "PUA's manipulate women into sex" is largely based on Barney Stinson's idiotic ploys to get laid. Considering reddit's infatution with this Blue Pill show, a lot more makes sense after seeing parts of that shitty ass show.

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points11 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I've been forced to watch a few episodes myself and frankly I think marshal is the only salvageable dude on there.

"When I was still plugged in, this was always my greatest fear - having some woman settle for me after she'd gone through every ride at the local fair and only loving me for what I could 'bring' to the table."

Same here, re: former blue pill anxiety. This is actually what began my red awakening two or three years ago; I realized the sad fact that this is the case more often than not in long-term relationships and it made me sick.

[–]1lucifa 7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think most men are aware of this, but for some reason marriage is so ingrained into the psyche as the 'right thing to do', they go along with it regardless. Especially in generations past, providing for your wife and family was your prime function in life. People just wanted to get by from one day to the next. These days there are so many options and possibilities, being single just seems such a more sensible option for a man long-term.

Probably because an alpha dips at the first sign of a hamster or changes the potential SO into a plate, never allowing her access to his heart in a way that can hurt him.

"Dated" this young naive aspiring model for a year while I was early in my career and she was finishing up her schooling. I didn't want anything serious, kept it as strictly sexual. She jonesed for more, and now, even years later after she's married to a supplicating beta for years, my phone blows up whenever she's in town, I'll get random e-mails, phone calls and texts from her throughout the year that clearly indicate she wants to get back together but I have long since moved on. I'd throw her the occasional bone TBH if she weren't so goddamn obsessive.

It's not beautiful and it's not disgusting, it's just how they are -- isn't this "the real TRP takeaway"? ;)

[–]StoicGentleman 11 points12 points13 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

TRP opens your eyes to the real world. We've all had our visions clouded by ideals, so when the veil is parted it feels like things are disgusting and evil. But they're not, it's just the way things are, have been, and always will be.

Some people say the best path is to opt out of the system. I say find the rules of the system and game them to your advantage. When society seeks to screw you, screw it back harder.

When I was 18, I met Paul. We hit it off, almost instantly. I won’t go into the details, but we had many adventures together and falling in love with him came so easily I didn’t even realize it happened until I knew that I couldn’t live without him. He was also my first serious relationship. As things progressed and became more serious, I started to talk with friends and family about my future with him. I wanted to marry him. I wanted to have his children. He felt the same way about me, we discussed it quite frankly. “You’re too young” “you’ve never even been with anyone else” friends would say… I was young and the idea that maybe I WAS being too rushed, maybe I needed to explore the world, etc, was planted. I was weak and I relented. Paul and I took a break so I could “figure things out”.

Bolded for "Ride the cock carousel!" All aboard! Choo-choo!

Stupid people taking other stupid peoples' advice makes me laugh. Reminds me last time I was at a fast food place, some young kid worker taking financial advice from some 70 year old cashier there. Unless it's on what not to do with your life, 99/100 that guy doesn't obviously doesn't know shit.

I agree with your first point - the grass is greener is such a fucking dumb mentality. It does seem very human though, and you have to fight with logic to override it, or you can easily throw away something good for something shitty, just because it's new.

The second point though, you don't have a clue who the guy at the checkout is - he could have a PhD in economics for all you know, he could be working there as a way to talk to new people after retirement.

It's very naive to pigeonhole somebody into a very narrow archetype just because of their career - take the advice on its own merits, don't automatically accept/deny it just because of the person giving it.

[–]2comment 9 points10 points11 points 12 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

That's why I said 99/100, for the 1 guy who knows his his shit but is in a bad situation like healthcare debacle. If you see an old person at Micky D's or Walmart, I'd say it's most likely they're scrambling for the money, Idk anybody that hard up to meet new people in that setting in a no respect job.

I could even lower it to 90, 80, 70, really doesn't matter as long as the numbers were against it. Life is a numbers game, just like the philosophy of this sub, the generalizations will always miss the unicorns but good luck finding the unicorns.

Anyway, it wasn't any PHD or econ talk, mostly just how to afford to get a car and the old guy talking about getting an old delapitated one cheap and about fixing up his own and have it old enough to be considered a classic for cheap insurance. A route with many, many pitfalls to say the least.

There are exceptions, but I think the source of advice/info is useful to consider as well as their motivations in giving it out. None of us are really so experienced as to know whether every piece of advice has merit or not.

[–]10J18R1A 20 points21 points22 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Or the second person could have figured it out too late and is trying to spare others the same fate. Good advice is good advice, regardless of the source.

The second point though, you don't have a clue who the guy at the checkout is - he could have a PhD in economics for all you know, he could be working there as a way to talk to new people after retirement.

This is the stupid logic I expect in TBP or the rest of Reddit: "Oh but YOU DON'T KNOW! You can't be certain! He could very well be the President or CEO of the company!"

Shut up dude. Chances are, that guy is a huge fuckup. I don't have time to research everyone's background nor do I have time to research everything someone says. Which is why I trust the opinions of experts in their field, because they did all the learning for me. Chances are, in life, if a cash register worker tries to give any advice, they probably don't know wtf they are talking about. I don't care if they are right 10% of the time. I don't have the time to bother listening, considering, and researching everything these people say considering they are wrong an overwhelming majority of the time.

It's like taking diet advice from a fat person. Sure, the fatty could very well know diet advice. But I'm not going to listen to what they say because I'm far too skeptic considering their position and obesity, and I much rather waste my time with a fit person giving me diet advice.

And yes, judging someone on their career is okay. Don't turn this into the HAES movement of careers. A cashier is a shitty job adding very little value to society. Saying not to shame them, is like saying remove all disincentives for someone being a slacker in life.

I think that excuse diminishes at 70...

Plus, sure I'm a bit of a dick being judgmental. Time is limited, so I got to use it effectively, and make quick judgement calls on people's character based off limited information. It's not right, but it's necessity.

[–]abXcv -2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

judging someone on their career is okay.

For me personally, it isn't.

I'm just a person who doesn't equate somebody's worth with the way they make their money.

I know plenty of people in low paying jobs who are very artistic, or love to program in their spare time, who are beasts at the gym, or who are great to hang around with.

I don't know why you're being so aggressive here - I'm not saying to take the guys advice on his word because he might be right - I'm saying to analyse the advice on its own merit, then come to your own conclusion.

If you're stood on a bridge, and there is a bin-man on one side telling you to stay where you are, and on the other side is the CEO of a Fortune 500 company telling you to jump - whose advice are you going to take?

[–]puaSenator 8 points9 points10 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I know plenty of people in low paying jobs who are very artistic

So what? Then take their advice on art, and not finance.

I'm just a person who doesn't equate somebody's worth with the way they make their money.

I am. A prostitute has very low worth in my books because of the way they make their money. I don't care how good or moral of a person they are. In my book -- failure.

I'm saying to analyse the advice on its own merit, then come to your own conclusion.

What I'm saying is that's ridiculous... That's like when feminists say, "Hey don't judge people based on what they wear." Granted, sure many skinhead looking punk kids could be great amazing awesome people. However, I don't have enough time or care to vet every single skinhead punk I see. Because based off all prior experience, they are overwhelmingly likely to be a shitbag I want nothing to do with.

The same is true with people's claims. I simply don't have enough time to verify and critically think about each and every claim that is made. For instance, I still don't understand entirely hawking's radiation. It's confusing and makes no fucking sense. However, he's a really smart guy and all the other smart scientists agree with him, so all I can do believe them.

In fact, by them saying it, actually gives me MORE reason to try to understand it, because it's likely true and I wouldn't be wasting my time trying to understand something akin to Jews causing 9-11.

So, if I am going to get financial advice from someone I'm going to both take the word from an expert with a proven track record, and likely consider and think through this persons opinion as well, because they've shown to me that their opinion is not just some random guys opinion.

However, I am not going to get financial advice from a guy working at McDonalds. Sure, he could have great advice, but I'm not going to waste my time trying to think it through and mull it over when statistically his advice is likely shit.

If you're stood on a bridge, and there is a bin-man on one side telling you to stay where you are, and on the other side is the CEO of a Fortune 500 company telling you to jump - whose advice are you going to take?

That's a terrible example. A CEO of a fortune 500 company has no relevance to the situation. I don't judge people's opinion based on their status, but their relevant experience. I'd take an in-n-out employee's advice on cooking a burger well before I take the advice from the late Steve Jobs.

This thread also re-emphasizes something important that Red Pill men tend to overlook:

The thing about administering the Red Pill to women...is precisely that it needs to be administered to them. They won't take it themselves.

Men are driven to the Red Pill out of necessity, out of dire want, driven by their smouldering sex drives or their fatal nihilism after a bitter divorce rape.

But women are passive. They play a safe game, and when a life decision doesn't work out, they often don't fix it - they simply endure it until something else (hopefully) comes along.

Red Pill Women are not born. They're not even self-made. They're made by YOU.

Find your woman and teach her.

Exactly. If her first guy would have gone after her, they would probably be married and she wouldn't have these horrible nagging doubts. The fact that she can't even talk to him pretty much says it all. The CC ruined life for her and what's sad is you see other women trying to rationalize it.

Sounds like he was just a "greater beta" or something like that.

She broke up with him to sleep around, and refused his advances, then when she was ready to marry him for providership, he said no.

So she found an even less attractive provider, in Craig.

I concur with this, I don't think its within an adult to try to save another at least in this manner. I understand the motivation is distinct, but I see it a bit akin to trying to "save" a girl from her issues, a common mistake when you still believe in the fantasy of the blue pill.

And we're happy to do it.

As a dominant personality type, part of the pleasure for me of being with a woman is being able to lead her, mentor her, and watch her grow.

Men walking the path of the Red Pill will often learn to develop and re-embrace these dominant tendencies, and women will enthusiastically follow.

I'm convinced that it is the natural state of heterosexual relationships.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Find your woman and teach her.

Why?

what do women have to add to a man's life? I though being RP was all about self-improvement, and being the best individual you can be and living for yourself.

Why would I want to put in the effort of training a bitch, after I come home from work tired and drained? Whats the payoff? What is a woman but a parasite in this situation?

[–]TRP VanguardHumanSockPuppet 8 points9 points10 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You're still in stage 2, but I understand exactly where you're coming from, because I too was there.

Women actually have a great deal to add to your life. They will go to the ends of the earth to please you, to care for you, to make you happy, if you would only give them your guidance.

Behind the veneer of every boiling feminist lies a woman who wants to be led, and who is eager to please a man who understand how to harness her potential.

A woman is a valuable resource in which to invest. That's why we're here figuring out which buttons do what.

[–]stop_talking_ 19 points20 points21 points 12 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

I feel you man but I'd advise against straight up bitterness towards them. You're still thinking of it from a selfish point of view. They need your direction. Do it righteously and they will add whatever value to your life that you need. Or not, and then fuck them. That's where self improvement comes in. Makes you less vulnerable to their inherent capriciousness.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]TRP VanguardHumanSockPuppet 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Of course he's thinking about it from a selfish viewpoint, it's his life their going to affect. If you were going to spend considerable time and/or money doing something you'd consider how it affected your life.

And he raised a solid point, sex aside, what do women offer in a relationship? Very little. Is this worth the cost (time, shit tests, alimony if married, etc.) of having a woman in your life? Probably not.

In whatever situation/lifestyle he's leading, the cost of long term woman is much greater than the return. And I'd probably agree with him.

[–]Endorsed ContributorWe_Are_Legion 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link

And he raised a solid point, sex aside, what do women offer in a relationship?

This is what new people don't get. You only know how to get laid. The same question could be offered for every single relationship of your life. Is your answer being a selfish hermit? Or endlessly filling yourself with unjustified and pointless hate for every person who in your mind and limited experience does not offer you something you want?

For now, continue on your course. You can be bitter. But be humble to the possibility that your perspective has room to grow. That you've not seen all there is to see.

PUArtistry was never about happiness. A human has more needs than just sex. A man is not merely a sperm dispenser and a woman, a baby factory.

You are making everything about the sexual marketplace. As if that is the only thing that exists. If you were an unintelligent animal, I would agree with you.

EDIT: HumanSockPuppet brought up a good point. You're stage 2 red pill. There is a happier stage to be in than anger.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Why do you assume I'm hateful and full of vitriol? You can believe what you want, but I'm not particularly angry or shocked. I just see it matter of fact that women in a relationship provide little value compared to cost it takes to keep them faithful and happy in such a relationship.

This is what new people don't get. You only know how to get laid. The same question could be offered for every single relationship of your life. Is your answer being a selfish hermit?

The same question should be applied to other relationships. What value does this person add to my life? Friends and Family who don't provide much benefit to my life, get removed. People who I find valuable and interesting, I try to keep in my life. Whenever I'm back in my home town, I'll usually go out for drinks with my old highschool philosophy teacher, hit up my old guitar teacher, and visit an old lady who took me driving. These people all add more value to my life than a long term girl does, and although it's sometimes inconvenient, the cost of meeting them is always worth it.

Or endlessly filling yourself with unjustified and pointless hate for every person who in your mind and limited experience does not offer you something you want?

I'm not angry dude. Painting me as angry and my viewpoint as one that needs to be outgrown is much easier than critiquing it, but does little to convince me or anyone like me it's untruthful. As I said, I just see that as how it is. Women take take take, but they do very little giving.

[–]Endorsed ContributorWe_Are_Legion 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Alright, I bought into the stereotype. You're not angry. Given.

Earlier I assumed that you were thinking in terms of a purely material exchange on the sexual market. But now that you yourself gave examples of the friends and family, it makes it easier to state my point.

You say your old teachers for philosophy and guitar, and your driving companion from earlier are providing value to your life, that the cost of meeting them is always worth it. In a way, they make you happy.

How?

They provide interesting conversation. Maybe a favour here and there. They care about you. Generosity towards them and from them makes for a good exchange. [Put or remove stuff here, you know better than me]

And why?

They are compatible people. You have good history and shared values. There are things you can learn from them. You are a social animal that likes company.

I'm sorry, this is where others reading get the impression of a lack of perspective. Logically, why exactly would a woman be incapable of fulfilling these criteria? Maybe even exceed?

It doesn't make sense. There are lots of educated, insightful women in many fields. They could be generous, kind-hearted individuals or well-read or travelled or have a tremendous variety of good qualities that are invaluable in a companion. A companion who has the potential to make lots of good history. Of course, none of them are perfect, but then who is? This isn't me arguing for a unicorn. This is me trying to make the case that whats happening here is perhaps, a failure of imagination.

Like I said bluntly earlier(hey, this is /r/TRP), but I really apologize, I forgot to actually emphasize it as the meat of my post:

You only know how to get laid.

I don't know you, but let's assume you're meeting women in your locality. Starting flings, each showing whatever portion of your value you think the other is seeking in the quickest time possible. You say women don't add value besides sex. How much value do you add back, that's never reciprocated? Dinner? A car ride? The initiation of dates? Your wonderful, wonderful personality?

Let's say you've gone through ~5 of these girls, when you find one that interests you. And you move beyond fling. You remember how clueless you were during BP days? Well, that's how women still are. They are absolutely clueless about what a man wants. Their game has always been easy. Because sex is an OP weapon. They don't know how to apply femininity, like you didn't about masculinity. Especially western women.*

Moreover, women are crippled by their nature to be biased towards men who are unlikely to show her value beyond alpha traits, and they constantly complain that all men just want sex. They're jaded. Like you. And they're victims of feminism in a way too, via a princess mindset. Cast in that role they don't really want to be in. Not really.

So what now? Is this new game un-winnable? No, its just another level. With new mechanics. And you sir, you...

You only know how to get laid.

RP women aren't born. They're made. Most women are clueless about what you want. Show them. There is lots of material written on Long-term game. I recommend this fellow named Occam'sUsername. Chat him up on the IRC too for good insight on specific queries.

Its not for no reason some of the older members are adamant about this: the success or failure of any relationship, without exception, is your fault.

How much value they provide you. How much they give, that depends on you too. I know this guy who does nothing but chat with women. Yet he gets gifts worth serious cash all the time. He visits them overseas and gets the royal treatment. He fucks with impunity too. Granted, he has literally been a male model. But yeah, its possible.

*I'm Asian myself and live in a conservative society. Sometimes I pity you guys. Lots of educated yet homely, chaste and wonderful women here still.

[–]TRP VanguardHumanSockPuppet 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No. Talking explicitly about TRP is the last thing you want to do with a girl.

When I say teach, I mean teach her how to be a proper lady. How to please you, how to defer to your authority, how to love you, how to trust your protection, and how to fulfill and even appreciate her female role.

The problem with modern women (and men, for that matter) is that we have no good gender role models. Our culture has systematically stigmatized gender roles. Since culture won't help in this process of rehabilitation, it is left to the individual man to educate his women.

If there was ever a perfect Redpill thread from r/askwomen, this is it.

A few prime case studies:

throwawaycuzhusband: Dates a guy named Paul for a while, clearly an alpha because he keeps her salivating for him long after they break up. Finally she marries some other chump and gets him pregnant. Guess what? Paul calls her up again and for the last many years, she just can't stop thinking about him. She openly admits that while she appreciates her husband's cash and provider status, Paul is her only true love and will be the only one she ever felt passion for.

TheWorstIndianAlive: The name says it all. 28-y.o. Indian woman who went on a furious carousel-riding journey through college. Dated a beta but couldn't put up with him because he was so supplicating. Dated an alpha who then broke up with her. Now she's gone through a laundry list of men and desperately needs her parents to get her an arranged marriage.

Salamandrattackforce: Dated a guy named Scott throughout college. He was a great boyfriend, perfect really. Well, he moves away for grad school and the plan was for her to follow him later on. Guess what? A week after he leaves, this chick starts sleeping with a guy who is a "convicted rapist, "smoked pot every single moment of free time", and "had an awful temper". Now she misses Scott but thank god, he won't take her back.

Take home point: If you marry a girl who is in her late 20s or 30s, her best years are already behind her. She's already had wonderful relationships and cherished memories. She'll constantly pine about the one who got away, and will force a smile when she's in your presence just so you will keep the cash flowing. In reality, she'll think of you nothing more than an ATM.

My favorite was the one where she left her "perfect" fat pimple faced boyfriend who gave her flowers all the time for a "6' 3", slender" iron-jawed alpha who abused her (when he wasn't ignoring her or fucking the shit out of her) and according to the story literally held her down and raped her, but she straight up admits that she thinks about him all the time and still harbors a "strange love" for him.

THIS SO MUCH

[–]rztzz 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

To be fair --I'm a guy and I'm the same way. If not worse.

I dated a 9/10 girl from age 19-22 --aka the hottest years of her life. She was also incredibly smart and interesting, and we had a passionate relationship.

I fear that no girl is going to compare in the future.

[–]InternetFree 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Now she's gone through a laundry list of men and desperately needs her parents to get her an arranged marriage.

LMAO! That's just the best part!

And people say this is an "inhuman practice showing the patriarchy of any country that employs such an outdated institution".

Bullshit. It gives total failures the chance to still get a provider.

I'm a 20 year old guy with a bit of a thing for older women, so the fact I am saying this, probably says rather a lot

If she is late 20's or early 30's and is not married, there must be a reason and that reason is that for them marriage isn't what they really want, fucking around with Alpha's and getting their drinks paid for by Beta's is what they actually want from life. They only "choose" to settle down, when that literally becomes the best option for them besides becoming a crazy cat lady. Of course she will rationalise it saying "I was having fun before and now my Beta chump lovely husband is the good care giver" but if she really wanted that, she would have done it age 24 max.

It's not important to women. It's important to people to live, period. Sometimes in TRP it's like the blind leading the blind.

Yes.

Women aren't attracted to money itself, you're right about that. They are attracted to status, however, and money translates to status.

There is a strong base reason for every stereotype. If you cannot see this you are either too stupid or remain brainwashed by an ideology. Clear the filth from your eyes, the sooner the better.

The average women desires a man with power, purpose, and/or popularity. Money is strongly related.

We hit it off immediately. Super intense mental AND physical attraction which is rare for me. Well then I find out he has this long distance gf he's had since high school, but they practice an "open" relationship or some bs. I found out a couple of days before Valentine's Day, he told me she was coming in town for it and he was going to take her out and break it off. I was pissed. Why would he let her come up at all? So I broke it off. I was actually casually talking to another guy who I liked at the time who had a psycho ex who lived in town.

It's not okay if he does it, but it's totally fine for me! Ever wonder why there are no good women leaders or philosophers?

Women are so wrapped up in their own emotions it completely renders them incapable of empathy. I wonder if this is why feminism has risen so quickly. Men are programmed to empathize with women, women are programmed to empathize with themselves. Fascinating.

My favorite one is where the girl talks about how she found the perfect man, but he was moving to grad school, so she had to stay behind 2 months before being able to move in with him.

But she just couldn't stand being alone, so a week later she found another guy and dumped the man she loved -- because she couldn't stand being alone for 2 months in a LDR.

Why do I have a feeling this isn't all adding up? Just so happened to find a guy in a week and dump the guy you love? Just like that? On a whim? Nothing was happening before?

I like that this is the only place on reddit where comments that aren't PC, and sometimes offensive to some people can get upvoted. Reminds me of reading about college "speech codes" where it would be punishable to say racist/offensive things but someone argued against it saying at college, you are trying to learn and discover things, and this process might sometimes lead someone to a racist or offensive thought; but this shouldn't be a crime. We can't figure things out by only staying on the PC side of the fence.

It will be a sad day when comments like this are no longer a part of the discussion.

[–]cxj 15 points16 points17 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Political correctness is designed to limit potential thought and thus to control people. Society doesn't want us to come to the conclusions TRP has because then we will know where our true incentives lie and pursue them, which goes against societies interests.

[–]Endorsed Contributorgekkozorz 22 points23 points24 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's part of the reason people hate us so much, but also part of the reason this place is such a safe haven for us. A lot of the things we recognize as being truths are not possible to say in the "real world" where you have to tread on PC eggshells.

[–][deleted] 31 points32 points33 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Whenever women say the word existential, 'consciousness', etc, I know it's a bunch of hamster bullshit. You fucked your own life up - there is no cosmic existential force that nihilistically ordained that you must experience emptiness. But when you say it all "poetically" aka using words you learned in English 101 back in college, it makes you feel validated. Which is of course why the author of the first reply responded like that. Exhibit A: most, if not all women have rape fantasies.

But they will call it "ravishment," because that sounds moe like what Christian Grey does to Anastacia Steele.

[–][deleted] -5 points-4 points-3 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

There's a big difference. I know what it's like to be sexually attacked and I know what it's like to be lovingly 'ravaged'.

The biggest difference is that one is consensual and one is not. One is positive and exiting and with the right person. The other is traumatising and dangerous and wrong (and illegal), also possibly with someone who hasn't washed their penis in 5 days and doesn't care if they seriously harm you.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Aka it's "rape" if a beta does it and "ravishment" if it's an alpha.

Gentlemen, take note.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No. If you believe that then you're just as bad as the other deluded misogynistic dbags who fester here.

The man who sexually abused me (when I was 13) was someone who you would call an alpha. He was charming and pretty handsome and had me wrapped around his little finger. He was also head boy at my school. He was 19 and everybody respected him. For some fucked up reason he wanted to have sex with me despite my age and the fact we were really just friends. When I said no he got ragingly drunk and violent and proceeded to gag me with his rancid dick for 3-4 hours straight.

He was 'alpha', so therefore it must have been consensual right? It was ok that a man forcedly choked a 13 year old with his cock because he was attractive and domineering?

[–]rico_montoya 17 points18 points19 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Considering the popularity of "The Notebook" where that little minx Rachel McAdams is a total disloyal slut, no surprise these hamsters love this shit. The more I read TRP, you'll notice that most popular media embody Blue Pill principles. The few that don't are either so well done that they're applauded as critical genius (The Wire, Sopranos, Breaking Bad to a lesser degree except that Walter White became a fucking 'dickbag' to everyone when he mans up) or shit on (Two and a Half Men) for being misogynistic filth.

Both Avon and Stringer Bell are different styles of RP leaders I would say. Stringer through gritty realism (able to evaluate the entire landscape cerebrally and then do what needs to be done, such as killing DeAngelo behind Avon's back). Avon is your more charismatic leader who keeps everyone in line, maintains the hierarchy of generals and whatnot. I've only seen about 2 seasons and I would say that its RP in that it tries to show the reality of crime, rather than being some "badass cops versus Scarface-ripoff drug dealers!" show. The reality being that it is a pyramid setup just like business, where the manipulative / dominant types quickly rise to the top and the idealistic / clueless BP types are used for some menial task and then they either die or go to jail.

As a man who also has a Korean girlfriend and can understand her: Yes, you can be absolutely certain she is the same. Actually, I assure you she is worse.

Korean women are the worst when it comes to this shit. Superficial, deluded about love and happiness, living in Disney princess fantasies.

However, they are incredibly loyal and will do anything you want from them. Like, literally anything. Especially when it comes to sex.

And their superficial attitude will make them very self-conscious about their looks and their behaviour. They never behave like sluts (even if they are), they are never loud and obnoxious, they are never bitchy, and they always take perfect care of their body. Going to the gym, dieting, putting on perfect make-up, perfect outfits. It's amazing. Especially the fact that they can wear these ultra-mini skirts and just look amazing with that perfect Asian skin.

Never going back, regardless how deluded they are.

[–]bukkake_news 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

I think my girlfriend might be a sociopath or something, she seems cold-hearted (I don't mind at all). I thought this was a Korean thing but maybe it's just her.

You're dead-right about the sex thing, my gf treats our sex like it's her most important job in the world, she even showers me after we're done. Totally self conscious too, eye surgery, boob surgery, every kind of expensive face cream you could imagine, it's ridiculous. She's going to look 25 forever because she refuses to let the sun touch her skin.

She's pretty cool, she even apologized to me after she had a miscarriage like she failed or something, my American ex would have blamed me and resented me for something like that but this Korean girl took full responsibility (which she didn't need to do, it was nobody's fault obviously).

[–]InternetFree 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

To be honest, the cold-heartedness might be due to disillusion. Korean guys are pretty ruthless.
Usually girls will be cheated on without her knowing and the girl will find out when the guy posts a cutie-picture of himself with his new girlfriend on facebook sorrounded by hearts. And then she will still fight for that douchebag...

Although Korean guys look and behave like betas - carrying their girlfriend's handbags whenever they can, opening all doors, paying for everything (that one was really weird to me, they pay everything), apologizing all the time, doing all the fucked up over-the-top cute shit with them, buying them jewelry, talking about kids and marriage, etc. - they absolutely aren't. They are huge assholes. And I mean... massive assholes. They treat their girlfriends like princesses but the moment the girl looks away they will immediately fuck another one. They will usually treat their friends better than her. And so on.

So, your girlfriend just might have the attitude of "this guy will cheat on me anyway, so I better not get my hopes up that high and just make the best of it". Or maybe she is just adapting to you and trying to be the way you like her best. Most likely if you show her nice feelings she will warm up quickly and be all lovey-dovey (if you want that). However, do that when you are young, it seems that once you are older she will get used to being cold-hearted and once you start being all cute and clingy they will consider you weak and ultimately start hating you (even if they like it).

Sociopathy definitely isn't unlikely among Korean girls to be honest. I don't think there are many Korean girls (nor guys) without some degree of personality disorder. It happens due to their lifestyle.

Also, yeah, all those surgeries. They really do take that seriously. My girlfriend never had a surgery and because of that is incredibly proud of her body, so she always makes fun of people who had surgery. "Oh, look at her, she obviously had nose surgery, I look better than her without surgery, aren't you proud of me?"
Korean girls are fucking mean. However, last year my girlfriend got a skin infection on her face and she had huge pimples all over her face for several months. Holy shit, she was crying all the time and I thought she was going to kill herself. So, while I love the fact that Korean girls all look perfect, it's really not only borderline crazy. They actually are crazy.

That's something funny about women. They don't have to love you or have lust for you in order to have a relationship with you. They can just get with you and say "Well I can cross relationship/marriage off my bucket list." It doesn't matter who it is with once she hits the wall. Once the concept of them being alone hits them they get terrified of being alone and grasp at anyone. The real trick is to be sought out and not grasped for out of desperation.

Well you have to take the stories with a pinch of salt.

Nobody is going to admit they called up the alpha 50 times begging him to get back together with her, and he told her to fuck off.

They're much more likely to say it was mutual, or that he was trying to get back with her, and she refused him.

[–]IWantWhatsReal 15 points16 points17 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This so much. A female friend of mine had an abusive jerk as a boyfriend for years, broke up and came back thousands of times, and everytime she broke up, she would tell our group of friends how he was begging for her to come back. As another female friend of ours told us, it was the other way around.

[–]rico_montoya 16 points17 points18 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yep. When the woman says "he called me back wanting to get back together" it's more likely "he was bored and wanted to see if he could get an easy lay that night."

But then again, women are the main character and directors in their movie, the story always gets told the way they want it to.

[–]DeliriousPrecarious 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So then why use the stories as examples at all. It takes some serious reading between the lines to look at many (or any) of the "original" BFs as "Alphas". Most of the time it sounds like the women left a beta type for a CC ride and regret it. That still supports RP theory but isn't really what the OP is implying is going on.

I thing RP is great but I would like to see the theory expanded a bit because in my experience, it doesn't fit 100% of the time. They would have been much happier with betas.

I'll admit that I am a beta, although I was major alpha until about 26 when I developed PTSD. I used to have crowds of hot women begging me to date them and that is no lie or exaggeration--a natural without knowing anything about alpha/beta. Me picking up women used to be that a car full of women driving down the street would pull over and say that I was hot and the hottest girl would beg me to fuck her in a park or anywhere immediately. I'm not lying--this happened often and I though it was completely normal and that all men experienced this. My face was attractive but my body was normal and I wasn't that tall. This happened from being a kid will into college. You can image the crash I felt when this attention stopped completely. I experienced life as a hot women, but I was a man. WTF? How does this fit in with RP theory? I was a bit of a sociopath so maybe it was just a vibe? This fits RPT.

I've found an herbal combination that restricts estrogen and boosts testosterone, turning women into that "Olympic woman" tom boy mentality--much less drama and if that is done after growing up, it doesn't affect looks--just the mind. When my girl's estrogen spikes I call it going to "crazy town" and I make her drink a smoothie that basically zaps estrogen.

Also, birth control pills are BAD NEWS and are partly to blame for the decline in female sanity since the '50s. Pouring in estrogen can't be a good idea.

Okay, so first this shit is said.

About 7 months in, I got a phone call from Paul. He poured his heart out. He had dated other people, they didn’t compare… he wanted to get back together, but he knew that I was in a relationship and he was sorry that he didn’t come to me sooner. He would wait until the relationship ended naturally, but he wanted to give it a real try… we were adults now, we could really be together.I agreed. I began planning my way out of the relationship. I was very ready to be with Paul. I didn’t deserve another chance and I knew how lucky I was.

Then she says this. . .

Craig and I have a marriage that people envy. We’re incredibly loyal to one another and our family has grown since the birth of our son. I’m living the white picket fence kind of life. He’s my best friend. We joke, we laugh, we play with our kids… it’s the ideal family life. I’m happy, I feel lucky to live this life with him.

As soon as another alpha cock passes by or her beta of a husband fucks up, her loyalty is going to shrivel up so fast it's going to look like her vagina.

Hey OP, something to keep in mind is that a lot of people, myself included, tend to romanticize the past and subconsciously choose to avoid remembering the bad things about a former partner.

We do this because remembering shitty things makes us feel shitty and we try to avoid feeling shitty when we can.

Another reason this happens is because people don't like to accept they decided to spend several years of their life with the wrong person. For many of us, "she was pretty good and I let her get away," is an easier pill to swallow than "I wasted 4 years of my life with a terrible person who emotionally abused me and treated me like a turd."

Revise/Rewrite, explained.

You know guys. Red Pill is not a religion. It's a theory. And this story is another puzzle piece that fits perfectly and further verifies the theory. There is a movie with Claire Danes, that is very much like this story. She had some caddies thunderloins fuck meet pussy into the plains of oblivion and she could not stop talking about him until she died. IF you are in a relationship with such a person you are the most unimportant person in the world. No matter how much the woman "loves"you. There is only one kind of love between man and woman and it's not for you. Don't. Be. That. Man.

I would tell Craig that he gave me the life I was meant to live, that my life with him is filled with more love than I could've asked for. Sometimes I truly believe that this was the path I was meant to take. I love my children more than anything in this world. I like to think of them as the loves of my life, and he gave that to me.

I got a question.

There's a story in there about a chick getting super obsessed over her alpha boyfriend and not until he relapses into beta traits does she realize he's physically abusive (or so she says).

How do you guys explain her hamster keeping her in that relationship despite abuse and even coming back to it after leaving him?

Seems to me if her story is true they're both fucked in the head but I'd really like a play by play in a red pill format.

Because the alpha tingles she gets from him outweigh the beta.

Dollars to donuts says if he turned into an apologetic whiny bitch overnight she'd be on the next ride outta there and his "abuse" would suddenly be a major problem to her.

The only thought that went through my head the moment after I read that was wondering what crappy romance novel/film/narrative this could be ripped from. This doesn't even make good fiction.

And I wonder how her current husband would think about her drooling over the alpha "she let go" years ago.

god damn. the more i read the stories of what these women put their men through, the more im grateful for my future father and brother -in-law. of course we know that women behave appropriately around men when they are raised and taught correctly. I have never had these issues with my SO, none that stem from a blue pill problem. sure we may argue over what color sheets to get, but thats about it. she isnt trying to control me or the relationship. Im getting ready to grad in may with my BS and do you know what she did to surprise me? 2 days ago she drove up to see me and cooked me a whole fucking chicken with stuffing and greens and the works. she shows she loves me. and you know i showed it back by telling her how thoughtful she was and etc. its not that hard to not play games but that what some women do. me and her have been together since we were 15 going on 24. so she has no need to play games with me since i still get her while she is in her prime. it just saddens me that i see men on reddit and even in my classes dealing with classless women.

[-] sorrywrongguy 22 Points 21:24:08, 28 March

My case is rather more extreme than the others, but I feel that maybe other people can relate to it, so perhaps I should post it.

During my early years of high school, I was dating what I would consider to be the "right" guy, even though I didn't really think of him as such at the time. He was chubby, awkward, short, and had a great deal of curly hair, pimples, and braces. He was certainly not the most handsome boy I had seen, and I only started dating him because I thought his taste in music was cool. sigh

But he was one of the sweetest boys I had ever met, and always treated me very well. He respected my sexual boundaries, was kind to my family, always made me mixed tapes and cool geometric drawings, and brought me flowers. He never said a word against me, even after we broke up, and was just all-around wonderful. I fell in love with him, despite him looking a bit silly.

After a few months, though, a different boy caught my eye: He was 6'3", slender, and had a very sharp, Scandinavian bone structure that I adored. Big lips and green eyes, the works. I fell for him after only talking to him for a few weeks, and decided to leave my then-boyfriend to date this handsome guy.

The relationship sucked immediately; I was almost obsessively drawn to him, and expected constant texting, kissing, and sex, although he returned the gestures in a cold manner. I remember after about two months of dating, I told him I loved him, and he told me he thought he would never love me. I blamed myself for being too attached, and began to hate myself for what I was doing, but I continued to love him.

The tables turned over time, though. He had a massive drinking problem (we lived in central Europe, so the drinking age is younger than in the US or UK), and would often become emotional when he drank. He would call me at 2 or 3 in the morning, shit-faced, crying and asking me to come outside and see him. When I did meet him, he was always covered in blood -- whether the blood was his or somebody else's, he never said. He got into fights with other people, and came home at least every weekend with bruises and cuts. He began to obsessively fall in love with me, while I turned away from him gradually. However, there was this underlying magnetic attraction to him that I couldn't control, which is why I stayed with him.

Our relationship became even worse, and he started turning his alcoholism and violence to me. When I fucked up, he would either hit me or bite me. Sometimes he would leave marks, but most often not. I didn't tell anyone about what was going on until a friend at school managed to catch a glimpse of it; he had slammed my fingers shut in a locker door while we were alone, because some of his friends claimed I cheated on him, and my friend saw and asked me about it later. He convinced me to break up with this guy.

I did, although reluctantly, and came back to him almost immediately. This pattern continued for about 6 months. I felt like I was in love with him to the extent where I could overlook this abuse, but in hindsight, I was terribly, terribly afraid. I was abused as a child, and so I think some of this fear was coming from past-traumas. Eventually, I managed to move on and my desire and attraction to him had faded. I began to date another boy, but still kept in contact with the last one.

He continued to harass me by calling me late at night after drinking and throwing rocks at my window. He was much kinder to me, though, and had stopped hitting me. He always begged me to take him back, but I stood my ground.

There was one distinctive day that ruined everything, though. He came over to my house when my parents were gone, telling me he needed to talk about something. I reluctantly let him in. He held me down and raped me that day.

I kept in contact with him after that day, although it was in complete fear. I hid the events of that day from my then-boyfriend and my parents for almost a year, but they knew something was wrong. I wasn't myself after that and am still quite apprehensive about getting intimate with somebody. I finally cut contact with him one day, but still think about him often and wonder where he is and what he's doing. I still love him, but it's a strange kind of love. Perhaps it's not really love, but another strong emotion that I can't quite categorize. As much as I feel that for him, I'm also in complete fear of him. Even to the extent where this is written on a throwaway account because he still knows my reddit username and I'm almost positive he always looks at it. After all, he loved me, too, in the end.

This story ist pretty much the opposite, a girl which left her beta male for an alpha and stayed with him even though he beat her because of his alpha characteristics.

[–]x3oo 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Sorry but many stories there read like: "I had this beta male which i left for a bad boy / alpha looking / more attractive guy and now i regret leaving my beta." It reads like they all left for stupid reasons like better looks, better game etc. and miss the beta properties.

Great thread. So much redpill here. Check out the little tidbit at the end.

One of my best friends had that experience. When she was in her early twenties she got together with S. S was funny, amazing with children and devoted to her. S however was not at all adventurous. He loved her sense of adventure and would happily join in on everything, but he was very much a "salt of the earth" kind of guy. Not artistic, not going to wake up one morning and decide to trek around India and thus too boring and normal for my friend. Twenty years on she is still regretting the decision. Her boyfriends were arty, but mentally unstable. So adventurous they couldn't hold a job down. Genius, but highly abusive. Unsurprisingly she regrets her decision horribly. However he is happily married with kids. She starts meeting him and working her magic. Wife is not impressed. We tell friend to stop being a bitch and leave the poor guy alone. He is like a moth to the flame when it comes to her. In the end she agrees. Still talks about him though. Especially as she has just dumped her latest boyfriend because he was more jealous than a dog watching someone eating cheese and her children window has closed. She says that he was the right guy at the wrong time.

Very loose definition of "rape". I'll never understand how someone can hold you down while taking your pants off, his pants off, the undewear, and then fuck you for 5-15minutes without you being able to stop him.

[–][deleted] -4 points-3 points-2 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I'm not sure you should be surprised seeing as EVERY SINGLE DREAM a girl has that involves sex is RAPE because she can't give consent while she is asleep.

I red the first story in this and I don't think it's all that bad.

everyone has the " one that got away", even me, and I am a red pill kind of man.

I do think she loves her husband. she just loves another man too. in this day an age you should expect that. I don't think her husband is second best. I just think it is what it is. they have a great life together.

Edit: to me, most of the stories sound like life. sure the guys could have been aphal, but how many guys in this world are TURLY alpha, not many. we can tear this whole thread apart or we can just leave it for what it is.

I am in a very poetic mood right now.. . here is a song to reflect that.

Just to play devils advocate a bit, let's just imagine that this woman did choose to stay with craig due to the pregnancy. Rather than a scenario where she asks Paul to take her in, he says no she stays with Craig.

Anyways, I find this to be a laudable choice on her part, she could have done the 'right thing' in the BP parlance and broke up with Craig on the pretense that she doesn't love him enough. Be a single mom and another kid without a father.

She in fact did do the right thing to build a family. What she did is not so unlike an arranged marriage, from all the Indians I know, men and women seems to be a quite livable arrangement that is filled with real love and concern. I'm frankly a bit sad that I can't I cannot take advantage of that system and get on with the business of starting a family. Which while gratifying and important for children is primarily an economic construct.

But noooo, here in the west we need to be in luuuuuuuv, the tingles and flutters must be in full force, which by their very nature are transitory.

[–]beginner_ 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She could also have gotten an abortion and left Craig for Paul and all involved would have been off better in the long run.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Interesting how she says "his children" before getting pregnant and "our child" afterwards.

Also, this is pretty much consistent with the fact that women cannot love only one person and will always be seeking the best mate. I think, in general, men are more content once they settle in life. Unfortunately, it's all too easy for women to take advantage of the beta bucks.

Way too late on this comment but NEVER date a girl you've been friends with for awhile. Girls need to go from meeting you to fucking you within 1-2 weeks max for it to be the "passionate whirlwhind" they fantasize about. You don't do that and you're just each other's leftovers.

To be fair this happens often in pieces written by people who have English as a second language. "Sorry if my english sucks, I'm from X" and then on goes text in english better than most people you could find at the street or a mall.
