No. My ex would always get excited when he got to drink the pink or blue drink. I thought it was cute. But in my mind, I find it hugely attractive when a man is so secure in his masculinity that he can do “girly” things and not give a shit what anyone else thinks.

I really don't give a crap what drinks a guy orders, as long as they aren't an alcoholic chugging mouthwash it's fine. If a straight dude ordered a drink that was shaped like a rainbow dick, I'd find it hilarious, but wouldn't consider him less of a man for it.

I think it's a few different things that influence how men are seem when doing feminine things - confidence, competence, and just how attractive they are besides their non-typical choice.

Confidence - not acting weird around their choice and just owning it. If you drink a girly drink, just leave it at "because it fucking tastes good" instead of insecurely trying to justify it.

Competence - Certain things require a certain level of competence or else you lose some respect. For example, if you wear pink or push the boundaries of men's fashion (even makeup), you should do it well or not at all. It's extra cringy when done poorly. Doesn't really apply to the drink scenario but i thought it was worth mentioning.

Attraction - easiest to see how this works with an opposite sex example. Fat unattractive chick who's into drinking and food and football is seen as masculine and gross. Skinny hot chick with same interests is special and cool. Lame guy with girly drink = even more lame.

Lol yeah to be honest I'd probably be a bit put off if my husband swapped his regular beer or whiskey for a strawberry daiquiri. I like that he has taste and can appreciate good wine and whiskey, girly drinks don't mesh with that part of him at all.

Edit: put off probs isn't the right word. I'd just be puzzled cause he's a snob with that stuff and you couldn't pay him to drink a fruity girly thing.

It would affect my attraction if someone is basing his taste in drinks on his idea of being macho and making a point about hating "girly drinks" because apparently association with girls is something "lesser" in their mind. I say this although I'm not a fan of sugary or overly iced drinks but not because they are girly but because of the taste or too much ice content.

As a woman, in a lady people thread, answering a question for women, about the drinking habits of man people, in a thread for women to answer questions about the habits of man people. Hmm what was the question? Alcohol. Oh yeah I do not spend hours on this but the fruity cocktail thing is mostly something lady people do. Most men I know drink beer or the whiskey thing, I have still never really gotten into whiskey as a lady person in a lady person thread. I like tequila and vodka mostly.

I don't think much about it but based on just pure experience and a large sample of both gay and straight male friends- my straight male friends do not order fruity drinks. The only exception is a margarita if it is on sale.

I dont care what my boyfriend drinks. He does tend to go for the manlier drinks but it doesnt matter to me.
