Something that's hard to miss about TRP, RPM specifically, is their fondness for discussing and asking women basically how they would prove their worth to win over an attractive man with no interest in settling down.

"How would you get a Redpill man/player to drop his other women since sex is so abundant for him?"

Let's focus on that last part for a moment.

"This is in the context of a guy who wants to sleep around and does not want a relationship, but you do."

And like the women in the other thread I wonder, what is the point of a question like this? It sounds like a recipe for fuck ups and disappointment because the man is not interested in a relationship. Their goals are unaligned from the start and anyone with a smattering of experience knows that's really difficult to change, like asking someone to get rid of their beloved pet for you. Chances are it won't go well.

It's also degrading on the woman's part and comes off like "hey women, this hot guy doesn't even want a relationship but how would you convince him you're worth it? Please be as groveling as possible thx"

What I mean to say is the qualities of women aren't really the point of questions like this, its playing into a masturbatory fantasy RPM have about making women work hard (and against each other) to win over the man. The more women fighting over him the better.

It's the man version of the beautiful woman who pits men against each other to fight for her love, a fantasy about being wooed and wanted and fought over more than anything. The qualities of the women (or men) in question don't really matter beyond making the object of the fantasy feel more impressive.

To sum up, the three main elements of the theme of the uninterested man are:

  • He's attractive with many options and no interest in settling down, the ultimate mantasy about the cagey playboy who women scramble to impress and ensnare. The obvious implication being he wants to be ensnared, but not before playing hard to get and enjoying the drama of women competing over him.

  • Its flavored with some mild degradation of women by either imagining or attempting to illicit prostrations and declarations of self-worth to the hypothetical alpha (in this case, the man engaging in the fantasy).

  • Some variation of "work hard to prove herself" is so common on TRP its a mantra at this point. The assessment of a woman having good qualities is less important than the ego-feeding vision of watching her "work" for it (his commitment).

Why a fantasy about being a hard to get alpha that women are just desperate to lock down is so popular with RPM should be no surprise to anyone but what can I say, I was inspired and had some time to do a little masturbatory posting of my own.

Since it's likely I'll be accused of hating men and not wanting them to have standards here is my disclaimer: its ok for men to have standards, really! If someone isn't up to par for you its better not to waste each other's time. My criticism of this particular RP theme is how questions like this are transparent attempts to live out a fantasy and say a lot about RPM as a whole NOT a blanket statement that men don't deserve to have standards. I said it three times so hopefully that sunk in.
