The reality is that both sexes are now full of adults who still have the mentality of a teenager. They are very immature and many still possess this mindset going into adulthood, and marriage. When there is a marriage between two people, and one of those involved still has a teenage mentality, it is not going to end well.

Even though women are initiating most of the divorces because the legal system favours them in most cases, the reality is there's millions more stuck in marriages they're not happy in because at least one of those involved has yet to grow up and reach a level of maturity for such a commitment.

  1. Communication and openness about one's feelings is key to any relationship that is going to be successful
  2. Running away at the first sign of adversity is a teenagers mentality - they run away, adults face up to it
  3. Lack of expectations - not setting expectations in a relationship is incredibly naive - you both need to know
  4. Dependency - being overly dependent on the other is not healthy - allow them space to breathe as an individual

Even now we have multiple subreddits and movements full of one sex blaming the other sex for all of their problems, and vice versa. Nobody is looking at themselves and asking how can we be better as individuals and as a collective.

There is an entire society built upon pleasure infliction and a lack of self control. It is exactly as Huxley said it would be.

Everyone wants those chemical releases in the brain (dopamine, oxytocin) whether its from sex hookups on Tinder, likes on Facebook, retweets on Twitter, winning video games online, etc. - everything is about instant gratification - a complete 'now' culture built around 'me' in a world of narcissism.

Everything is about being validated - look at how many women take to Instagram to show off their huge asses, and look at how many guys seek validation from women by virtue signalling. It's just beyond pathetic yet so many people within society are partaking in this bullshit.

Long-lasting relationships are not about just now, they're about tomorrow, the day after that and the months and years to come. Marriage is a long-term commitment that unifies two people who have matured to a level whereby they can overcome that instant gratification and be content with the things that bring true happiness in life - happiness is not the same as pleasure infliction. People do not have the maturity level of mindset for marriage and this is why so many of them end up badly.

An addiction to pleasure infliction is even destroying marriages that are already in place because of this.

  1. The guy cannot pull himself away from video games, drinking or doing drugs
  2. The woman cannot get herself off Facebook or Instagram for fear of missing out
  3. Both men and women cheating because of that instant release rather than working things out
  4. Violence is used by either a man, woman or both because they cannot communicate like adults

All of the above are having a detrimental effect on relationships. How many marriages are being destroyed because of the above? These are common reasons cited by people going through divorces regardless of gender.

Do you know how many times I've sat out at a nice restaurant and have seen couples sat at a table, clearly on a date, and rather than communicate like two adults, at least one of them is more emotionally invested in their mobile phone? It's ridiculous yet many of these people are still going on and getting married. They shouldn't be. It's a surefire sign of immaturity, lack of priorities and a lack of self control.

This person has their priorities so out of line that they'd rather invest their time in their phone or whatever is going on in the phone than in the person they claim to love sat across from them, and the other person sat across from them has their priorities so out of line that they are willing to put up with that shit. This is teenage bullshit and yet I see so many adults behave like this instead of communicating like adults. All of the flirting, casual touching, fun, and preparation to get things back to the bedroom is gone out of the window as obviously the mobile phone is a lot more important.

Guess what is one of the top reasons for marriage failure? Communication breakdown. Hardly a surprise, is it?

Oh, and then there's the blame game that each sex throws at one another to remove responsibility from themselves, and their sex as a collective. It's a complete lack of introspection from a generation that has been brought up to be victim with an oppressor.

Here's some blame culture examples:

  1. The cock carousel - if a woman is riding it, who is providing it? Guys with no self control and these are not just so called Chads - there's a lot of ugly guys who get laid and have nice girlfriends and there's handsome guys who are so hopeless that they just cannot get laid at all - the guys who get sex are the guys who's be all and end all in life is sex - why is it that way? Because a teenager has that mindset - they're horny as fuck like a dog on heat and they put sex on a pedestal - they are not mature and have yet to realise that there's more to life than sex - again, all they want is that validation, pleasure infliction and instant gratification. The only women who want to marry these are immature women who have the same mindset as them. They are a match made in immaturity heaven. (In this case TRP would blame the woman but the reality is the guy is just as much at fault for lacking self control)

  2. False rape claims - the majority of these cases are nothing more than an irresponsible woman who had no self control regretting it the next day and because she felt bad and didn't get the validation, pleasure infliction and instant gratification she thought she would, decided it was rape and would now throw a guys life under the bus. I'm sorry but that is just the truth of the matter. Consensual sex that didn't make you feel the way you wanted isn't rape. It's you being an impulsive degenerate with no self control shifting blame is what it is. (in this case many feminists would blame the man but the reality is the woman acted irresponsibility and now regrets it - that doesn't make it rape).

The list goes on and on and leaks into every faucet of society.

  1. Picks a shitty degree at university? Complains about how life is unfair because they can't get a job
  2. Has sex without a condom? Expects everyone else to pick up the welfare bill for their irresponsible actions
  3. Eat loads of food and get fat? Claims its a medical condition (rare) and whinges about being fat shamed
  4. Chooses to have sex and regrets it? Must have been raped - couldn't have possibly been a poor decision
  5. Gets denied a job? Oh, must be because I'm a homosexual - even though the company didn't even know

All of the above could have been avoided by better decision making and actions.

  1. Pick a better degree with higher employability prospects suited to the market
  2. Wear a condom and ensure she's on the pill before getting it on
  3. Eat less food and go for a walk more often instead of being idle
  4. Stop engaging in sex with people you don't feel comfortable with
  5. Work on yourself professionally to improve your employability prospects

This is just the truth of the matter. Want a happy long-term relationship?

  1. Focus on getting your own shit together - priorities and being the best you that you can be
  2. Go out to civilised places and meet people of the opposite sex
  3. Assess their maturity level before committing to them long-term
  4. Enter a relationship with them and spend a few years together to see how it works out
  5. Continuously assess and work on the relationship and make a call as to whether the next step is worth it

If she/he pushes for marriage early on, ditch them. They still have the 'now, now, now' mindset of instant gratification. An adult would realise that these things take time to build. If they are repeatedly putting the wrong things first in life like video games or mobile phones, ditch them. You are worth more than that. If they obsess with things like Instagram or Facebook, ditch them. They should be dedicating their time to developing themselves as adults, or to your relationship as a collective.

Simply put, your relationship is almost doomed to fail if one of those involved still has the mentality of a teenager, and sadly, a large proportion of today's society, be it male or female, is made up of these very people because they haven't had to experience the hardships of life to help them mature, or had the right figures in their life to help them grow up and become well functioning adults.

One of the biggest problems of parents in prolonged adolescent is rather than see themselves as mature parents, they try to be friends with their children. This leads to a lack of discipline and another generation of entitled spoilt brats being produced who are then likely to go on and repeat the same mistakes.
