What do you mean by "porn" exactly?

Do you mean "visual porn produced primarily for an opposite-sex-attracted male audience"?

Because women are the primary producers and consumers of most literary porn, much of which is noncommercial smutty fanfiction. And a lot more women are into it than you might think.

Surely any discussion of the impact porn is having on women will need to look at perhaps the porn they write for themselves and each other, no? Because if you don't classify Fifty Shades Of Grey as "porn" then you clearly have a very strange definition of "pornography."

I watch it to get off or with gal pals to make sick commentary about. I share things I like with some friends.

You might have just meant vid porn but it doesn't make much sense to me to not include the porn women actually use, so I'm going to include erotica, hentai, VNs, etc.

I don't see any negative effects, other than a mild disappointment that telekinetic tentacle sex is just not gonna be a possibility any time soon. It's titillating and feeds the imagination. Women aren't as limited physically by refractory periods so flicking the bean solo doesn't have to negatively affect the amount of partnered sex a woman has, unlike men. It allows one to safely explore kinks & fetishes to know if they're potentially personally arousing. Porn is lovely, all hail porn!

men consume porn way more than women, and most porn is made for male audience. Most effect probably comes from being in relationships with men who watch porn significantly.

I do not think porn is having a negative effect on most men or women. I've watched porn for years, since about age 14, and I know all my male friends have as well. I enjoy watching porn 1-2x daily because it helps control my libido which is incredibly distracting 99% of the time. It's also made me feel sexier and more confident about my body and needs/kinks, seeing many amateur/homemade videos of women enthusiastically enjoying the sex I like, who are also size 6-8 like myself instead of size 0-2 like in magazines or lingerie ads. Porn is awesome!

Take away allot of their power in a non marriage relationship. Probably makes it harder to get in a relationship since there are quite a few guys that"check out" on porn.

Other then that I think I've only recently been with one girl that tried acting like a porn star. And she was barely 18 so she probably thought that was how to impress a guy.
