Have you considered that you may be overrating the looks of women while underrating the looks of men? I see that all the time on reddit.

Some women might not value looks over personality.

Maybe these couples started dating when they were younger, before the girl became "hot" or before the man got out of shape etc.

Guy I know well is 5ft6 maximum, works as a plumber and has burn scars all down his body and on some of his face. He gets really hot girls ALOT. Why? He surfs and so he hangs around the local surf bar and that's it. He's also interesting and funny.

So he's putting himself in the situation he meets people who are like-minded in interests. Couple that with the ability to tell stories about people he's met, things he's seen, and a great sense of humour and girls love him.

Social circle game as TRP calls it is a thing. It's how most people meet their SO.

Sure all those pictures were attractive guys, but that's only because average guys don't post pictures on the internet that are easily to find, but those are just meant to convey an idea.

It's a pretty common type of attraction.

That's rough, that's chill, that's cool, that's bad, that's messy, that's just pure unfiltered masculinity.

No need to have money if you've got style. And yes, that's often a very carefully crafted messy look. They often only look as if they don't care about how they look in public, but still spend hours shopping for those clothes.

The fact is that personality counts for a lot when it comes to physical attractiveness. How many times have you seen a 9/10 woman, only to find out that she is a total bitch and all of a sudden, you can't stand to look at her? How many times have you met a 6/10 woman, not taken much notice of her then had a conversation with her and realised that she is sweet, intelligent and kind-hearted and after having that conversation with her, realising that she is much more attractive then you originally thought?

TRP tend to downplay people's personalities and pretend that looks are the only thing that matters with women whether people realise it or not, personality plays a huge part in attraction and can change your perspective of someone.

Low self-esteem. At least in my experience. Because no matter how hot I may be despite my own self-esteem issues, I know for an absolute fucking fact I am less attractive than the literal 10/10 first gf I had. But she was also full of insecurities and generally emotionally unstable.

It basically follows the classic rule: you can date a girl hotter than you if you're willing to accept she's crazy.

And no, when I say crazy here I don't mean "typical man who doesn't understand normal female emotion." I mean legitimately BPD or similar.
