One thing we can learn from this election that's relevant to PPD is that 'equality', in the modern sense is a broken idea and concept. More specifically, the process of what most people understand as achieving equality doesn't benefit everyone equally, and doesn't carry equal benefit.

In regards to gender issues, it works the same way. Men do not benefit from modern feminism. The constant shaming of straight males does not bring equal benefit to both men and women. discouraging men from approaching women benefits women, it does not benefit men.

As a whole, my view is that claiming everyone benefits from only a certain group of people being supported and advocated for is a fallacy. Applying a reverse inequality does not fix an existing inequality.
