I'd wonder where the fuck he got the spare time to post enough to become an endorsed contributor. I'd probably also be annoyed that I had spent all that time raking leaves/mowing the lawn/working 10-hour days while he was spending that amount of time fucking around on Reddit.

Edit: Then I would get over it, and would spend the next several evenings, after the kids were in bed, drinking cocktails and reading through his extensive shitposting and laughing and laughing and laughing.

I would be very upset at him for lying; being told the truth is extremely important to me. I have many more problems with my husband lying to me than I do with him being a redpiller.

I would want to have him explain to me what he gets out of the Red Pill. I know my husband and he's not a misogynist, so that would be a major piece of evidence that I had misunderstood something; I'd ask him to explain why he believes what he believes, and perhaps I would come to agree with him. Other than the lying, I don't think this would be a major issue for our relationship.

I think I'd be very confused, and then I'd want to read his posts and see if he actually believes what he's saying. If it's particularly horrible, I would be sure to let people in our lives know why we broke up. If it's pretty mild, we would have a long talk about why he feels the way he does, and how that plays into his expectations about our relationship.

I wouldn't really give a shit as long as he's not spewing shit like "Women don't have empathy" or "Feminists are trying to destroy the world" or any of that other outrageous shit that I see on the sub sometimes.

For the most part I don't think TRP is a bad idea, it's just that crazy people flock to it and pollute it with these ideas. Just like feminism.

I'd be confused foremost. But most likely also turned on. My apologies to all my fellow non-terpers; I am a "pill-traitor."

Just to give context: my boyfriend cooks for me, texts me frequently when I'm away, and provides emphatic reassurance when I'm feeling down on myself. I try my best to reciprocate all this (paying for the groceries, texting back, and doing things to enhance his own low self-confidence) but I do still sometimes worry that I take advantage of him. He is also often more vocally offended than I am at examples of sexism against women. I find him intelligent and thoughtful but nonetheless sometimes become bored living in an echo chamber.

If he was a terper on the down-low, that would put a fascinating new slant on his behavior. I imagine myself reading through his entire post history; trying to discuss it in an empathic, respectful fashion; becoming all the more confused and aroused by his lies (he often talks about creating a Reddit account but has not as of yet, to my knowledge, done so); introducing him to my strap-on (we've discussed this too but never followed through on it); and then driving him out to a nice restaurant where I'd wine and dine him as thanks for another first. I mean, fuck it, bring me your best champaigne.

I would laugh because he is a liberal feminist like myself but...if that was all a lie in order to get into a LTR with me...which is still strange but lets pretend...if he was an endorsed contributor to TRP, I would break up with him and reevaluate my life. Actually, thinking back to when we first got together, he was (and still is) basically what red pill men aspire to be. Aside from being a "leader" in his peer group, he generally had 2-3 women who's company he enjoyed enough to have ongoing NSA relationships with, as well as hookups here and there. He's just a decent dude with major charisma and confidence, and most of the time would rather sit at home with me playing video games than go sleep with a bunch of chicks.

But yeah, would laugh at him. And then insist on counselling if he wasn't just trolling.

I would have to leave him. We have discussed many gender issues at length in the past, so if he was secretly espousing TRP views, it would mean that he had been lying to me about his beliefs for the past 7 years, and pretending to be someone that he is not. Deal breaker.
