Lets discuss "women are children"

I don't know. It seems that Blue Pillers think women are children, based on the "date rape" threads from about a week ago. In those threads, BPers were seen repeatedly saying that men are required to protect half drunk women against rape; that women can go and do whatever they want wherever they want with whomever they want with men's protection and under their watchful eye.

Most notably, according to BP, women are not responsible for anything they do -- including laying on a sofa half drunk with a half drunk man who they know wants to fuck her. Women are not responsible to protect themselves. Women are not responsible, and cannot be expected, to take even the simplest, easiest of measures to protect themselves from 'unwanted' sexual conduct from men.

BPers' belief that women aren't responsible for what they do is the very definition of child status. Children are considered not responsible for their actions, even negligent or reckless acts, because they aren't mature enough or experienced enough to evaluate and avoid risks.

I don't know what the official definition for it is, but I consider it a way for men to insult a woman's ability to tactically drop agency/responsibilities when convenient.

They're coddled by our culture. They're coddled by the state. They're coddled by most of our private institutions too.

Some women don't take advantage of this I guess, so #notallwomen or whatever, sure. But plenty do. And then when they find a place that doesn't coddle them, many turn around and protest and lobby and pressure other institutions that do coddle them to get it changed. These women dont want to be treated equally, they want to be coddled. Like children.

Just to clarify, "women are children" = society has been set up so that women don't -need- to mature. Men especially will excuse all kinds of bad behavior that would never be excused if it was exhibited by fellow men (r/pussypass). Many women take full advantage of this.

Tbh, I don't think most RPers even believe this logically. It's cognitive dissonance. It's a line they feed each other and repeat to themselves that's total bullshit (and on some level they know it -- that's why you get people being like, "it's just added maturity! But idk what that means!!")

It makes a lot of sense, really. The idea that women are children helps to neutralise the threat that they present to sexually unattractive men. When you have this idea in mind, women go from being powerful agents who can reject you -- and whose rejection is meaningful -- to silly children who don't know their minds and what's good for them (ie RPers). Even if they shoot you down, it's of no consequence.

Bit sad, really. But whatever mental gauze you need to patch over your anxieties well enough that you can talk to people, I guess. That's their logic at least -- I think this is problematic af.

Women aren't literally children. They're more like sci-fi mutant children.

Imagine a child who never grew up emotionally, but had been alive 35 years. This child has 35 years of life experience, 35 years of knowledge, 35 years of emotions, 17 years of unrestricted access to everything adults do.

It has the body, knowledge, and life experience of an adult.

But it doesn't have to work for a living unless it wants to or wants extra money. Nobody expects anything of it, holds it to any kind of standard, or imposes any rules, responsibilities, or boundaries on it, other than very, very general societal constraints. People take care of it and give it free shit and treat it extra-well and constantly tell it how special and wonderful it is. It believes this, because after 35 years of life experience, it's smarter than most actual kids.

Picture some kind of scary sci-fi kid with 35 years of knowledge and life experience, that lives the lifestyle of a child.

I think the women that are capable of say, running a business, or owning property, or whatever should be able to if they want. Which I think for the most part they usually do. I don't think the standards should be lowered so that women who are incapable of handling those kinds of things can still experience it, which I don't think happens all that much. It's just a matter of proving you are adult enough to handle it, which is the same standard set for men.

They want to be entertained in silly playful ways almost always over being talked to seriously.

I doesn't matter how educated she is, what her job is, how hardened she is.

She will respond to stupid child like humor. Without a doubt.

Age is irrelevant.

All women love to be made to feel good and have fun and be played with as if they're a little girl.

Stupid humor is ultimate for this. Intelligent humor does not make them feel nearly as delighted, even if theyre smart enough to appreciate it.

It works on literally all women, even the most masculine women love to be played with this way.

Its honestly retarded. I never treated women like this before I was about 19. Then I started to see.

It still annoys me, which is me still expecting women to act and think like men.

Stupid humor is fun, but so generally mindless, even if it requires wit to execute well, it's still far less on a humor scale than intelligent humor.

But that's how women and girls enjoy feeling, they like the stupid humor, the young, juvenile, immediately feeling evoking humor. The silliness is wonderful to them.

It doesn't matter if she's 5 or 75.

If women are essentially children, what do you think of women in jobs, female CEOs, female intellectuals, the idea of a female president, women driving, women owning property, women living alone?

Women CEOs and whatnot are rare exceptions to the rule. In fact most women are employed in bullshit busywork jobs like HR.

The exact society we have right now. Women are technically equal under the law, but in practice they have huge advantages because deep down people know that women are children.

Nothing. All the feminine traits of a 30 year old feminine women are the same as the feminine traits of a 15 year old feminine girl.

What perhaps is confusing is the existence of women that take up the head of the household role or pursue careers and need masculine traits.

We all all start off as children unable to take care of our need. We have to cry, initially, for everything. As we get older we stand, walk, speak, and do more and more for ourselves.

To do things for our self is to act directly for our own good. The more you do that, the more of an adult you are. The less you do so, the more childish you are.

A common complaint among men is women complaining to get something done they could do themselves. In fact, they will spend more time nagging than it would take them to do this themselves. This is about female power of course, which is why they nag so much. But to men, those women are acting like a child.

Also, to be an adult is to be responsible, not just for other children (hell we let 12 years old baby sit, that is how hard taking care of kids is) but for other adults.

Now women can do well as supervisors. Men can too. But many supervisors are shit, lets admit it. If you don't train or mentor your subordinates you are not a good supervisor. And plenty of articles report women don't find mentors in women, they find them in men. Men don't find mentors in women, they find them in men.

For someone to be an adult is to act under their own agency. This is not a dichotomous indicator though, it is on a spectrum.

It's not a question of problem solving.

It is a question of rationality versus emotion in decision making. Women are far more selfish and entitled and will never have any abstract principles to govern their decisions.

When I cross the street, I look both ways first. It is both the driver's responsibility to look at the road and mine to not put myself in danger. That is very basic.

Feminists state that women should never have to look both ways (apply this to all interactions/concepts). That they "should not need to" because we are trying to live in a utopian marxist society and wishing it is so will make it so. They should drink as much as they want all of the time because the nanny state will protect them, and if a woman gets raped she can come into a women's center so their numbers go up and they can get more funding.

Reality is that personal responsibility exists, because we don't live in that wonderful utopia. Feminists go out of their way to give women maximum freedom with minimized responsibility in all aspects of life.

So men treat women like children. Its been shown that women are treated favorably by men in almost every western culture, because we understand them as physically and mentally weak (Yet western women are absolutely begging for Islamic invaders to subjugate them). So when women are actually treated by men as equals, they bitch and moan about sexism.

They are so used to preferential treatment based on literally just having a vagina that the moment they are measured by skill or merit they freak out.

So to avoid this bullshit that could cost a man his job, he defaults back to preferential treatment. But in exchange men don't take women seriously or give a damn what they have to say. This means feminism absolutely fails in terms of social equality.

Women are either a protected minority or an equal. Pick one and stick with it.
