if no one's being harmed or exploited, then i don't see anything wrong with it, in terms of it being pathetic. i'd sooner think that someone that focuses their entire life on getting laid is pathetic (especially if they complain about it and do nothing to change), than someone who just pays for it.

someone paying for it still has far different values than i do, so i wouldn't date them. but hey, if they're getting what they want without hurting anyone, good for them.

For red pill the best answer would probably be:

You're always paying for sex. Ignoring SMV (which i would describe as a price modifier), there is always a price to be paid to get sex. It can be time, it can be attention, it can be both, it can even be money and very often is. So there really is no difference between the two for sex. You aren't really "earning" it any better if you don't directly pay for it. Prostitution takes the entire "hunt" out of it and replaces it with a flat rate.

I think a better question would be is a thinly veiled exchange time and energy for sex really worth participating in when you can get what you want at a basic price from a prostitute without any emotional surprises outside of STDs and Pregnancy which you worry about with any girl anyway, and most of the time less so with prostitutes.

Considering TBP just describes anyone who doesn't believe TRP is correct, can you actually say TBP are anti-prostitution? I for one think it should be regulated, or at least decriminalised, to protect both prostitutes and clients. Other than that I don't really care what consenting adults do in the privacy of their bedroom.

I don't think the blue pill view is that prostitution is a no-no. I personally think that if it's regulated and everyone involved is safe, it can be a positive experience for people who wouldn't otherwise receive sexual pleasure.

Paying for sex has always existed, and probably always will. On it's own, it doesn't create an objectifying society.

The reason seeing a prostitute is sometimes stigmatised is because it makes the guy look like he has no game and can't get sex the normal way.

You'll notice that no one levies such attacks against the many rich celebrities who see prostitutes, because they clearly don't apply. But those guys see prozzies anyway because as the old saying goes "you don't pay prostitutes for sex, you pay them to leave afterwards."

The answer to your question, then, depends entirely on the man in question. Is he an attractive man (physically and otherwise) who would be able to get sex without paying for it if he wanted? Then no, it's not considered pathetic.

But is he instead an unattractive man who has to pay for it to get any? Then yeah, he will get the brunt of the stigma.

Personally I don't look down on either, because if you're unattractive you might as well still get some and there's no shame in that imo. But the above reflects the views of general society from what I can tell.

If people stopped paying for food and just grew food in their gardens, wouldn't that be better than having to pay? Not everyone is blessed with a large, nutrient-rich patch of soil. And those who do have access to home-grown, organic produce might still sometimes decide to spring for a hamburger. A hamburger is quick, easy, and pretty consistently satisfying. So is sex with a sex worker.

Due to hypergamy, only a tiny minority of men are 'attractive'. Even if all men improved themselves in some way, women would just reset their standards. If tomorrow medicine came up with drugs that were 100% effective against obesity and also came up with drugs (maybe myostatin inhibitors) that let everyone have a gym body even if they were a couch potato, then the new standards would just take that for granted. Having a great body wouldn't count for anything, women would just take it for granted. A neckbeard incel today who works at McDonalds, if you transported him back in time 500 years he would be one of the wealthiest, healthiest, most intelligent, most hygienic males on the planet and women would throw themselves at him. In today's society since everyone has his level of health, wealth, hygiene and intelligence at minimum, it counts for nothing. Two hundred years ago being 5'10" was considered tall for a male, now it is just taken for granted.

Point being, women mostly ignore the bottom 80% of men (with a handful of exceptions), are open to the top 81-95% of men and chase the top 5% of men (they throw themselves at the top 1% of men and will happily degrade themselves in the process). By simple math, 95% of men can't be in the top 5% and will never have much opportunity to have a lot of sex.

So paying for it is a decent option.

That isn't what I think. I think that prostitutes cheapen the experience, but I just don't date men that had visited them before. I have no issue with men choosing to see a woman who chooses to be a prostitute of her own choice. I'm also not worried about sexualizing/objectifying women.

There are two types of guys who pay for sex (in this sense, giving money to prostitutes): 1) some pay women to have sex with them 2) others pay women to GTFO after they finish having sex with them.

The former is considered Beta behavior while the latter is Red Pill.

Red Pill emphasizes being attractive and having sex with women without resorting to giving them money, or buying things for them, or paying for their expenses. That is part of the AF/BB dichotomy.

However, it is considered acceptable within the Red Pill to hire a professional sex worker who doesn't engage in drama, will not try to baby trap you, and won't "divorce rape" you if you choose to move on.

1) I would never date a man from whom I know he had every paid for sex. I could be friends with him (knowing what he had done) if we agreed to ignore that topic, but I would feel disgusted by him touching me in any way that's more than normal touches/hugs among friends.
