My view is that, women have a rather large disconnection between abstract, conceptualized attraction, and what they actually feel when meeting a guy. Specifically, women have a poor ability to convey what they are sexually attracted to conceptually. If a guy says he finds big boobs on a skinny girl attractive, it means he wants to have sex with girls who are skinny and have big boobs. If a girl says she likes guys who are smart, or nice, or have big hands, it does not mean having those things indicate a sexual interest. It might not even indicate a romantic interest, it could just be an aesthetic judgement.

Women, have to feel a man, meet him, talk to him, and be in his presence to verify an attraction toward him. They don't have a distinct ability to compartmentalize singular features about men and have absolute opinions on their attractiveness.

Some scenarios of this I have observed, in college were:

  1. Girls saying they were "open to dating short guys", yet they're boyfriends or guys they danced with at parties were tall.

  2. Girls saying they only like gentlemen, yet hookup with the douche fratbro who only wears tank tops.

  3. Girls saying that muscles are gross, and they prefer skinny guys, but mostly end up talking to the buff, muscular dudes at the gym.

Challenge my view.

EDIT:

I am not implying women are being dishonest or lying. I am only saying they in which they feel attraction and think about it is different.
