Yeah but the insecurity you radiate from thinking women will leave you the moment they find something better (branch jumping/hypergamy), thinking you have to pass shit test all the time and hold frame, and thinking you can't show any weakness drives away they confident girls because they smell your insecurity.

So you end up with the crazy ones who think they have to play manipulative head games as well. And they confirm the TRP theories because they actually act like that. And so the plot thickens.

the complaints about TRP behavior aren't so often about teasing but about the other methods that they use, like dread game/cheating and actively trying to tear down a woman's self esteem. a woman with established self esteem won't put up with it; an insecure woman probably would believe that she can't do any better than an RP man and is beneath him, though. the cockiness and teasing that RP men pass off as confidence is annoying, sure, but it's not really the part that is used to try and exert control over women.

There is a difference between being true alpha and being Red Pill pseudo-alpha, though. The true alpha guy has real confidence while the fake alpha has confidence that can be seen right through by most women. TRP teaches fake confidence, which is enough to have sex with an insecure woman, but not enough to compete with the real Chads for the top SMV women.

You're using confidence in your example in a way that seems to specifically refer to social extroversion.

I get the impression the argument is referring more to attachment-style, e.g security that your partner won't cheat, approval seeking from partner ect.

In this model those with the secure attachment style (high self esteem, positive thoughts towards others) would be turned off by anxious-dismissive types (high self esteem, negative thoughts towards others- the stereotypical "intimacy is for chumps" redpiller) meanwhile anxious-preoccupied (low self esteem, positive thoughts towards others) types get all their buttons pushed from trying to please the hard-to-please.

e, I suppose fearful-avoidant (negative self esteem, negative thoughts towards others) would be going full MGTOW or something.

I think you're confusing partying and relationships with plating.

Confident girls do indeed like confident guys (not always, but more often than not). They want confident guys for relationships and will respond to them at parties.

A shy girl can also be persuaded into a relationship with a confident guy. A shy girl is also likely to like shy guys.

A confident (or shy) girl with high self-esteem will not agree to be a "plate" - where she is faithful to a man whom she knows is having sex with other girls. Whereas red pill claims that if a man has enough "game" and is "alpha" enough, this is exactly what women will do.

That is what blue pill says.

I've said it a lot, but again, I don't think the "core" of Red Pill is all that bad. Improve your self-esteem and have better luck with women? That's not a unique concept. I just think they get too into the analytical side of things.
