“Unicorns” in actual MGTOW philosophy is a placeholder for “perfect creature which does not exist”.

MGTOWs view most men as naive as they seem (to MGTOWs) to treat every woman as a unicorn despite the fact unicorns don’t exist.

It’s an amplified version of “don’t put women on pedestals”.

AWALT but some women are qualty enough to be considered 'unicorns' - though exceptionally rare.

Likely:

- n count less than 5. All from relationships

- more conservative family values

- good relationship with family

- little to no social media use

- doesnt get FOMO

- Has goals. This does NOT mean ambition. It can, but corporate climbers are among the worst to date

- Views motherhood as a privilege, not a burden

There are no unicorns. There are women and then there is your brain. They are what your brain make them out to be for you. If you want to believe they are a unicorn you will. Every woman is built with "competition anxiety" meaning they will compete for your full attention and validation which means they will do everything to be perfect, once they have it things change unless you keep them on their toes.

Funny enough, when I described my gf, some men referred to her as a "unicorn".

She's an honest girl. Nice and caring. Has good family relations, and wants a good husband and kids of her own.

Doesn't get drunk, smoke or do drugs.

She's super cute and has a good body.

Isn't a feminist, or a tomboy. Just a normal girl. Like they used to make em 😅

She is going to college and wants to work and earn her keep.

She does housework, like cooking, cleaning, washing and drying clothes, etc. And like doing it too.

She doesn't have high standards for looks, she just always wanted a genuinely good guy who respects her. None of that "if he doesn't have the 666, he's not worth it" bs.

I've never seen a standardized definition of a unicorn.

It's what any guy thinks she is, could be, "I'm so lucky I found mine."

Or could be used in the context of "AWALT, 404 error no unicorn found."

My mentality is more that you don't "find" a unicorn, you "create" a unicorn, most women respond to masculine behavior, so if you screen properly and set boundaries, either a woman is compliant with that or she's gone.

I'm not even being dramatic about that, it's not like I'lll even tell a woman, "You fucked up, you're gone." I'll simply let it drift away because I'm not interested.

I've been in relationships for most of my life, so I've obviously thought they were "unicorns," and to some extent they were all special to me and I was fond of them at the time.

Does every relationship have a sell-by date? I don't know.
