I don’t care how high value he seems at the time, and how shitty your lady friends may currently be. Find other lady friends you can trust before cutting out the last of your female friends that you may have outgrown. Men will use their newfound power as being your only true friend in a sea of fairweather friends or friendly acquaintances to their advantage, and to your disadvantage. I repeat, do not ever, ever let a man feel like he is your only ship to which you can swim to safety in the sea that is your life. They will, whether consciously or subconsciously, exploit this weakness in your life, and it is very hard to walk away when you have no one else. This is also why I would never advocate for a woman moving to the city of a man where he already has social support and she does not.
