I think that's the easy answer-- to say that these people live horrible lives because that's what they want. I think that a lot of us were born into a society that inundated us with values since childhood that if your partner is going through a hard time, the right thing to do is stick it out with them.

TRP professes the opposite of that. It teaches you to always look out for your interests 100% of the time because that's what alphas do. The problem is that society needs both alpha and beta. Alphas contribute by leading and betas by following and doing what is asked of them. This is a harmonious relationship but because our societies are walking down the path of Rome, we're in that stage where most, if not all, relationships (bf/gf, husband/wife, employer/employee, doctor/patient -- I can personally attest to this one) are now a zero-sum game. This is where TRP excels. Follow the commandments and you get what you want without getting burned.

The alpha beta descriptors are good for a reference point in a sub like this, but their kinda bullshit. Taking orders doesn't make you a beta, unless every US marine is a beta. No, it really wouldn't. A pack of wolves with all alphas would quickly fall into infighting and tear itself apart, or one alpha would dominate with the rest becoming betas. Same with humans.

Marines are betas, because they follow an officer, the alpha.

In the technical sense of the word, there is no shame in being a beta. With today's unrestrained celebrity worship, though, if you're not an alpha, you're nothing.

The way the word is slung around here, of course it's a pejorative, but in the days before the nanny state, being a beta provider was respectable.

Edit: people can be alphas and betas in different situations. Obviously, the patriarch is the alpha within his family, but within his friends he may be a beta

I'm honestly in the best shape of my life (168lbs 5'9" and still getting bigger ;) ) and an engineer.

I had the girl of my dreams, but I put her on a pedastal and asked her out and she obliged. Made us FB "official" (I didnt think to suspect she hid it from her friends when there wasn't a single like on the event). She gave me a script to follow for when I met her parents ( She lied about how long we were seeing each other and other shit). She told me she had PTSD (which now I'm doubting)and said I couldn't tell anyone (her parents couldn't even know I knew). She didn't even let me cuddle with her the first time we had sex. cold-approaching can be tragic at times. Had a woman put her hand to my face, whip out her phone and call someone and pretend I wasn't there.

Fuck that was disrespectful. Other times they just don't acknowledge you, the only way to get things to work is to approach them with "hey what's up?"

Don't try anything else, they're entitled and want you to do things "the proper way" Switch the conversation to you getting her digits, hanging out/meeting up, don't talk shit about yourself, if she asks a question make it brief, she can find out on a date, always leave her hanging.

I've been with and just straight up know single mothers and it's easy for them.
