First time posting on r/TheRedPill, but I have been lurking for quite some time. I was perusing the r/sex sub and came across a gem, which I thought I would highlight to show how women change their search criteria for the 'perfect man' as they age.

u/ 1woox1 posted regarding why men always want to be their partner's 'best lay'. Below is a re-write using RP truths to show AWALT.

I have seen from a lot of posts where guys say that basically a requirement for them is that they are their girl's best lay, or one day will be. I can see it as a nice ideal, but in reality it just isn't feasible. for a relationship, everyone is stronger in some things then others, there are some guys that are great lays, some guys that are great cooks, some guys that are really funny, but for the vast majority of us, the person that we date isn't going to be the best at everything.

There are different types of men. Men that we get the tingles for, who will dominate us in the bedroom. Then others who we will settle with, who are happy to support us. You can't be both.

For example for me, when I was younger I used to date guys solely their looks and how good they were in bed, relationships often sucked but hey the sex was great.

For example for me, when I was in my prime (early 20s), I dated the alpha-male. Confident, sexy, but the relationships sucked because they weren't there to validate my emotions and financially provide for me how a man should. I'm also pretty sure they were sleeping with many different women at the same time. But hey, I had the tingles.

Now, that I am older, I look for a guy that is stable, good with kids, responsible, faithful.

Now that I'm post-wall, I look for a guy who is financially stable, someone who will look after my kids, and someone who isn't attractive enough to cheat on me.

Sure the guy I might be with now may not be the best lay, but they are great in their own ways

He may not excite me, but they have a wallet and deal with my shit.

Being a woman's best lay isn't a big deal, and most of my friends have married guys not for their great dicks, but for being great overall.

At the end of the day, being attracted to him isn't a big deal. Most of my friends have married guys who may not be alpha, but they are great providers.

Lessons learned: AWALT. Young women love the cock carousel, until they no longer attract the alpha men. Then they search for a beta provider. DON'T BE THAT GUY!

TLDR; User describes how when she was younger, she looked for excitement and good sex. Now she is post-wall, she wants someone to deal with her shit.
