I've been told this all my life, that most men just want to get into womens pants and nothing else and are dogs. From family to friends, to people online talking about dating experiences. Dudes in real life stringing girls along for sex even though the girl wanted a relationship, Dudes on dating apps just sending vulgar messages or dick pics, complaints of dudes moving too fast sexually, relationships with dudes that just feel less romantic than with girls, that it's easy to find sex but not relationships, that they cheat more than women, etc.

Now, I know men are generally more thirsty. I ain't gonna dispute that. But I don't think that necessarily means that they don't want a loving relationship. Having a high active sex drive and wanting a serious long-term loving, caring relationship aren't mutually exclusive.

Some girls complain that they can't find a guy who wants something real. But it seems like everytime that kinda guy shows up, they don't actually take up that offer. I find it really hard to believe that I'm THAT rare. I hear them say they have trouble getting into actual relationships, yet a fat female friend of mine seems to have no issues with that whatsoever(ofcourse she had to sift through a few bfs to get the relationship she wanted), But she's one of the few people I know that actually gives a vareity of people a chance and is honest about what she feels and wants. I epsecially am suspicious because people always act like every ''nice guy tm'' just wants to get into a girls pants when really I just see dudes who have a perfectly regular crush like any girl would have on a dude which tends to involve stronger feelings.

People fall in love. People settle down. Hell, dudes can get one-itis and find it hard to get over some girl from years ago. Soceity constantly sells this idealized romantic image of true love through media, which people realize isn't realistic but they still seem to mostly want some of that. Even family and friends may sell you ideas of love that they know are idealized. For people getting their lives together finding a partner seems to be pretty high on the list of things they want someday, even if they first focus on themselves.Dudes throughout history have moved mountains in an attempt to get women instead of just going to a prostitute and leaving it at that. If anything I see a lot more dudes lament the fact that they aren't in a relationship than I see girls. Usually if girls I know irl aren't in a relationship..It's either because they don't want to be or because they're picky.

Really, how rare is it for men to not just want casual sex? And if they're rare.. Are they really THAT hard to find and tell apart? I used to be in a friend group full of inbetweeners, weirdos and nerds, where this one dude who was basically just a very good looking nerd got into a relationsjip with multiple girls in the friendgroup (4 total) and they all ended up fighting because from what I remember he couldn't keep his dick in his pants. Like, I get it, he's a charming, generally kind dude who's good looking. But when you KNOW he keeps doing this shit, yet you still go for that guy, while there's other people out there I see fall head over heels for a girl and they keep getting rejected, something has to be up. There have even been times where the dude is practically up front about just wanting to fuck people, yet they still go for him.
