All Red Pill Sidebar In One PDF

Reddit View
August 17, 2015

After the whole week of staying up late, working late in the night, battling with formatting hell and typos, I have finally finished compiling all the information from the sidebar into one e-book.

Like every new user, I was too, guilty of procrastinating and not studying the sidebar material. One of the things that turned me off was that the sidebar material was all over the place: different blogs, websites, fonts, color schemes (I took care of that now by making this e-book). I just couldn't concentrate. The length of the posts didn't help too.

But the way I see it now, you have nothing to do here, if you are not prepared to sit, read and study the sidebar. If you're not prepared to read hundreds of pages of eye-opening material - your loss.

There has been big drop in the quality of the posts (this is throw-away account, I've been here for a year or so) lately. What I would suggest to everyone is to sit and start reading the sidebar again (or especially for the first time!). Sometimes you just need to return back to the basics. It's a really long read, but it's also worth it! After all, this is the best red pill knowledge that is out there and you may read just the sidebar and nothing else ever again on this sub, if you want.

So, click on the link. Download the sidebar an start reading it, I've done my job.

Good work, original post with links are 0 bit sized files. Yours work.

[–][deleted] 86 points87 points  (2 children) | Copy

Maybe I'm not the right person to say this, but your work is greatly appreciated by the community. People like you keep TRP growing, thanks so much bro.

Thank you, appreciate it.

This should be stickied and added to the sidebar. Thank you. This will be very useful in the future.

[–]Modredpillschool88 points89 points  (4 children) | Copy

This should be stickied and added to the sidebar.

Once we add it to the sidebar, he's going to need to update the pdf with the new sidebar content. It gets a little hairy after that point.

edit: just making a recursion joke

[–]Nebulose115 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

Give control over to the RP mods gods.

[–]Praecipuus2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

You should add it to the sidebar once he's made it.

[–]Manmore25 points26 points  (3 children) | Copy

Awesome work man! The only thing I miss is table of content at the beginning.

[–]_aroo[S] 16 points17 points  (2 children) | Copy

I will listen to your suggestion. It will be included in the next version. If someone finds any mistakes (there may be some, because I was usually working late in the night/early in the morning on this) please report them to me and I will update everything.

Also, I'm not the best designer, so if anyone wants to design a new cover for the book, feel free to post your suggestions. If people like your cover, I will include it in the next version.

[–]MisterMojoMan5 points6 points  (1 child) | Copy

Hey man I saw your reply and I'm a graphic design major as a senior in college, so I figured I would make you a design real quick. This is just a preview just so you can see the graphic. If you want to use it, I can adjust the dimensions to make it the size of the cover and send you the file. I can also help you with other parts of the design in the book as well if you need me to. Thanks again for putting together the sidebar info. Cheers.

[–]_aroo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

It's great, thanks. I will contact you when I'm doing the next version.

[–][deleted] 137 points138 points  (26 children) | Copy

Not to sound ungrateful but any chance of a mobi or epub version as well? Alot more convinient format for any of us who prefer to read off a kindle etc

[–]_aroo[S] 144 points145 points  (14 children) | Copy

I can do it if there is enough interest. Upvote his comment if you want e-pub and mobi versions.

EDIT: I have updated the post. EPUB and MOBI links now included. Formatting is pretty shitty but I can't do better.

[–]breakingbadrule 12 points12 points [recovered] | Copy

Again not to be ungrateful, but is all the content same as The Red Pill Handbook. Or something more has been added?

And good stuff. Much appreciated.

[–]Senior Contributordr_warlock16 points17 points  (1 child) | Copy

I believe the red pill handbook is only archived TRP posts. The sidebar includes a lot of non-reddit material.

[–]fr0i0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

What do you use to convert it to epub and mobi?

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

Did a bit of dabbling and made an epub with decent formatting, though has some odd page breaks and page numbers are in random places on the page. Could be done better at your end exporting to a more convenient file type from whatever program you used to make the PDF and then converting it I'd imagine.

[–]GuruDev10002 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

You're right, the formatting is fucked up for epub.

How did you make the PDF? If in Indesign, then it has an epub export feature

[–]GLOOTS_OF_PEACE1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

sweet now how about an audio version aye? I'd like to listen to this on my drive to work. get michelle obama to narrate it.

[–]Reastruth0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

This should be on the sidebar. Thanks for this.

[–]destraht0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

In the absence of retail quality formatting I think that the best way to create an epub is to simply copy all of the text straight into Libreoffice and to then export that to PDF. Then there is Calibre for creating epubs from that and it won't include all of the page numbering as if was content.

[–]triumphman8413 points14 points  (6 children) | Copy

download a calbre and do it yourself.

[–]drussinator5 points6 points  (3 children) | Copy

The proper spelling is Calibre, calbre is the california bureau of real estate, wouldn't want to point him in the wrong direction now do we ;)

[–]JoeModz48 points49 points  (0 children) | Copy

Instructions unclear, now California Real Estate mogul.

[–]kireol7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy

You wouldn't download a bureau of real estate would you?

[–]kris33-1 points0 points  (1 child) | Copy

A "native" epub/mobi version is usually way better than a converted one. Auto-converted files often have weird stuff like page numbers in the middle of the text, which makes sense considering how auto-conversion works.

[–]_aroo[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

True, but I don't have time to make MOBI file from scratch. I've deleted page numbers for MOBI film, but formatting is still far from perfect. Does the job for those who want to read tho.

[–]iDontKnowMyself0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

You can send PDFs to your kindle..

[–]The Red Pill RoomIanIronwood19 points20 points  (31 children) | Copy

Outstanding work. Seriously, this could be a major development. Copyright is a tricky thing, but as you are the editor, what is your position regarding this work? I'd love to see it freely distributed far and wide. Perhaps with a way to send it anonymously via email.

Consider, gentlemen, what would happen if the entire male freshman class at any given university was gifted this pdf? If only 10% of them read it and went RP, that could be . . . very interesting.

Comments? Suggestions?

[–]Modredpillschool10 points11 points  (24 children) | Copy

Print it out like Chick tracks and leave them around campus? Might need a better name than "red pill sidebar"...

One of my major life changing moments was finding a discarded Paul Graham essay in the recycling bin of a computer lab at 2am. Gave me the perspective that there are other non-dead-end career paths out there.

I'm certain this type of material would be life changing as well, especially in engineering departments :)

[–]VirgilMastercard3 points4 points  (4 children) | Copy

What's the name of the essay?

[–]S74RK12 points13 points  (3 children) | Copy

"How to Start a Startup"

Someone had printed half of it, threw it out. I googled some phrases in the essay, found the links, and completely changed my career path ever since. I would also recommend:

[–]member_of_adhd2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy

Im curious, what did you change your career to/from? Don't need to specific if you don't want.

[–]S74RK10 points11 points  (1 child) | Copy

Instead of planning a slow, steady, and ultimately boring rise up the ranks of a large tech corporation (to what, being a higher level BB? I've never been very materialistic), I started living cheaply and saving "runway" so I could strike out on my own. This type of work, where my future depends completely on my skills and leadership, is what really engages my brain I find.

I've gone through several cycles of the following: I work the conventional engineering jobs when I need to save up, then inevitably quit and try starting a company. Resume is starting to get fairly fragmented, but this is mattering less and less. Skills and portfolios have started to speak for themselves.

What's really important is that I've found a way to practice mastery in entrepreneurship by keeping my living expenses low: hello bunk beds + AirBnB, though this forces me to be creative logistically with plates. There was a study somewhere stating that many top entrepreneurs have incredible safety nets (wealthy parents) and can easily try and fail a bunch of times, explaining their eventual success. I don't have that, but I can approximate it and make up the difference with extra drive.

[–]member_of_adhd1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

interesting, I gotta say you sound like you've got drive. Good luck!

[–]The Red Pill RoomIanIronwood2 points3 points  (14 children) | Copy

Not so certain. It's obscure enough to make it tantalizing. The sort of thing you start urban legends about. If he decides to expand it beyond the immediate sidebar, perhaps The Red Pill Player's Handbook?

[–]Modredpillschool0 points1 point  (13 children) | Copy

I think "red pill" has enough stigma that people would find and throw them away. I like mystery.. RP Player's Handbook, or "the book of men"

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (12 children) | Copy

I think "red pill" has enough stigma that people would find and throw them away.

I don't think the average person knows what TRP is.

[–]Modredpillschool16 points17 points  (11 children) | Copy

On a college campus, in women's studies circles, it's gaining traction. I've witnessed it first hand!

[–]Redasshole2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

I'm going to print this and leave a copy in a women's study library, just for the laugh.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

Is that why roosh had to hide?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Lol he had to hide because its Canada were all sjws here

[–]CuriousFloyd 2 points2 points [recovered] | Copy

Please continue! I have only heard third reports of folks saying "this sub hates it" or "this sub bans them." Kinda curious as to what the official academic line is supposed to be

[–]Modredpillschool5 points6 points  (6 children) | Copy

Well a lot of college students are well aware that there's a men's rights movement, and they loosely associate them with the phrase red-piller but I'm not sure if they're aware that it's referring to a subreddit (or if they all even know what reddit is..)

I had gone on a date with a women's studies major and she hadn't heard of redpillschool (which i'm disappointed about) but she had heard of the red pill. She went on and on about how refreshing it was to go on a date with a guy who was nothing like that.

[–]Solitary_Wolf 3 points3 points [recovered] | Copy

hahaha so you were playing the wolf in sheep's clothing?

[–]Modredpillschool6 points7 points  (4 children) | Copy

I told her that I created the forum and actually hated women. She laughed and ordered another round.

I don't think people would believe me if I did go public. lol

[–]_aroo[S] 2 points3 points  (4 children) | Copy

I'm fine with everything you've suggested, but you would really need to ask people that have actually contributed to the content of the sidebar.

All the bloggers, posters, authors (it would be hard to get permission from authors of the books that want to earn money), contributors and so on.

In terms of content I'm no one.

[–]The Red Pill RoomIanIronwood1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Perhaps direct links to their Amazon/other paid outlets as compensation? Rollo, any comment?

[–]trpftw0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy

Also I wouldn't share it with young adults and freshmen. That's quite a silly idea. They have so much to learn before RP. They have so much to improve about themselves before they even start getting a lot of girls. Many will have trouble understanding it if they never experienced anything. Finally, what happens when everyone is RP, women will adapt, competition will get fierce, and we will have to rewrite a lot of the original concepts as things evolve. No longer will much of RP philosophy be effective if the top 80% of men today become as good as the top 20% of men. Not to mention the amount of betas abusing RP ideas without understanding them. Let RP grow naturally without trying to "advertise it".

If anything I would only share the unfairness parts of it to get guys politically active in fighting for the rights of men in the law.

[–]CptDefB0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

If all you said were true, this entire thing could be scrapped and we could all just leave copies of The Manipulated Man laying around everywhere.

Using competition as a reason, even if it comes secondary, is operating on a scarcity mentality (there are more women than men on the planet, just throwing that out there). To address the primary, what is it that men are supposed to learn before RP becomes relevant? A rhetorical, but before you even compose an answer in your head consider that the institutions that RP theory goes against are shaping the realities of individuals from an elementary school age.

[–]trpftw-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

It's not scarcity mentality. It's the fact that I don't think many guys deserve shit. Some guys are abusive, assholes, or just plain do nothing to improve themselves except to look a little attractive. Especially guys who are like still in college etc. I was like that too once upon a time.

Yeah you have a point about that. I just don't think we need exponential growth either.

In revolutionary ideas, those that grow too fast sometimes develop a very negative counter-opinion. Sometimes the threat is that there are people posing as red pill and ruining its reputation (notice a lot of betas commenting sometimes and even giving advice that are incorrect).

A slower pace of growth results in longevity and the stability of principles.

Some ideologies grow so fast that no one can even define what the hell it is anymore and tons of people just claim they are that way.

[–]Canard_wc0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

To help the diffusion of the RP an increase the book read rate, the printed version should not use TRP as title. Instead maybe hijacking some pop culture terms related to mens improvement.

A title like "the real Bro-code" referring to the how I met your mother show would trigger some curiosity in someone finding the printed version of the sidebar.

[–]ThePedanticF0x7 points8 points  (1 child) | Copy

It would be wise to suggest mandatory download and offline reading of the sidebar material to newcomers before they contribute posts and comments. I think an overhaul of the sidebar material is also long overdue.

[–]Redasshole0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Suggesting downloads and website at the end is a good idea.

[–]thefisherman19615 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

We should all pitch in some money and get this PDF edited and published as a book. It will simply be called The Red Pill, maybe with an added subtitle.

[–]lechattueur6 points7 points  (3 children) | Copy

Great. You saved people the hassle of browsing through different blogs, getting sidetracked by the comments, different fonts, etc.

[–]pedler0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

This is...amazing. im probaly the only person who uses text to audio to read the sidebar and this helps with that immensely.

[–]rurpe-3 points-2 points  (1 child) | Copy

If different fonts and formatting are hindering your progress, you have bigger problems to deal with. Having it in one place is nice.

[–]lechattueur0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Not really, they are just not very pleasing to look at.

[–]redpillalphamale 13 points13 points [recovered] | Copy

I've read the sidebar material in my Kindle using GLOs red pull handbook. Honestly, after that I didn't have to come to this sub much again. Especially with the drop in quality and the many low quality betas up voting stupid shit and down voting useful stuff. I'm pretty sure 80% of this sub is bottom 20% of male hierarchy. Which is not a bad thing since they want to improve. However reddit is a very democratic forum and if those people have up vote down vote and posting privileges it inevitably lowers the quality of the sub. Which is what happened here. I strongly encourage people to read this pdf and GTFO of this sub. They will save precious time and they won't even have a need for this forum anyway anymore.

[–]Endorsed Contributorvandaalen11 points12 points  (0 children) | Copy

I strongly encourage people to stay here and help others, who are still in need of this forum, in the process of unplugging.

Thanks for this comment, I've been considereing that for a while.

[–]_aroo[S] 7 points8 points  (10 children) | Copy

Basically, what I've done.

1) Read the sidebar.

2) Read all the top posts from TRP collected in

3) Read all RP books (I have a nice list if anyone is interested).

4) Check TRP once a month for the top posts of that month.

You know, since I haven't heard from OP I forgot about it until now. So what I've done is set a deadline for two weeks from now to have it finished. It'll probably be done quicker than that but that gives me enough wiggle room for "the unexpected".

And I've +friend/RES tagged you so I remember to notify you specifically. How's that?

Thank you so much for this! for the first time I am making progress getting through the sidebar, I have the pdf bookmarked and have been reading some each day.

There is however a major problem.

The section "THE CULTURAL THESIS" contains factual inaccuracies. I only made about a page and a half when some suspicious "facts" were confirmed by a quick google search to be false. Idk where the author of that section got his info, but everything I read in just the first page or two was blatantly wrong, unsubstantiated, unprovable or otherwise suspicious. Considering this was in the beginning of his "thesis" I must assume everything fallowing that intro is based on those fallacies and therefore false as well. For this reason I am completely skipping that section until it is edited.

It really is a shame because the first sections about stories of men being brainwashed by feminism their whole lives were really well done but the Cultural Thesis section can only be the result of someone who was equally brainwashed by a masculinist his whole life.

There is no honor in spreading our cause if we have to lie to do so, and I do not want to be affiliated with an organization of group that spreads false information.

I am only bringing this up because I think it is best for all of us. This material needs to be fact checked and re edited immediately. There will be smarter and more knowledgeable men and women stumbling upon that pdf and finding more mistakes than I did and discrediting everything we have worked for.

[–]Redjatis2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

First I want to thank you for your time and effort, downloading and stashing this pdf away right away. Although I do have a few suggestions.

1.) Table of Contents possibly with hyperlinks. One of the Advantages of the sidebar is being able to have it organized like chapters to research so to speak. Any good book with chapters has a table of contents, I don't need to explain the merit of this.

2.) You include all the hyperlinks in said articles, but no link to the main articles themselves, I would recommend a hyperlink or something underneath the main header underlined titles. (Although it is unlikely that everyone would want to reference that article directly, this gives your book both the function of the Reddit sidebar, as well as the pdf set up. This also allows these posts to gain much deserved traffic and credit to the original authors.

3.) The Misandry Bubble & The Manipulated Man's subsections initially seem to be their own sections completely. The only difference I could tell from the Beginning of the Book to the next sections or chapters is the lack of a red underlining. I don't find this very intuitive, and it was initially confusing. This also prevents me from skimming through at a quick pace looking for specifics (Due to the general land marking.) I recommend slightly changing the color, or even lowering the font a little.

Edit: Sentence structure.

[–]tylerf892 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

I'm page 25 into it, and I'm wondering at what point does it give me the solution.

I've been subscribed to redpill for months and read threads from time to time.

How do I fully become someone that embraces red pill?

That's what I want to know.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

A little late, but TRP is all about shifting mind sets. You're trading one lens for another, for some this is natural, for others they experience head aches and battle choking the pill down. Here's a general checklist to start applying the concepts after you've observed and read them.

1) Focus on your dreams/aspirations 2) Make money doing what I said above 3) Learn and apply game in nearly all of your environments 4) Lift 5) Learn a martial art 6) Become an intellectual, read more. 7) Become interesting. Find hobbies and deep passions besides step 1 such as music, painting, boxing, chess, etc. 8) Learn to realize you are the great catch

[–]icouldhavehaditall3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy
