I think there is quite a lot emphasis on what you want instead on what you have to give. The world of dating is a buyers market by design: If nobody values what you have you won't have any people who want you.

Here is a list what a person (man and woman) has to do to be a high value person:

  • Daily meditation practice
  • Train 5--6 times per week
  • If single be productive. Working 60 hours per week is no big deal to be honest
  • Eat healthy 90-95% of your meals. (1--2 cheat meals per week)
  • Read 1--2 books per week. You need some ammunition if you want to have an interesting conversation.
  • Be emotionally mature. No fits, no "f*ck y**" or anything like that. You need to be in control unless you are a child.

What I mean: It takes a lot of time and effort to be a high value person. And I don't see many people to put in the work. I think a good principle is to access your standards translate it in realistic time requirements to achieve those standards and see if you match the effort.

My question for you is what you think is necessary to invest to be a HVP. How much work are you seeing people put in their value? I don't mean this career thing. A career is just the side effect of being industrious. My question is only about character building.
