Believe it or not.. Costco.

They have an online store (just google “costco jewelry”) with a large selection of rings. Priced anywhere from $1000 to $500,000. They all come with appraisal paperwork too, of course.

I found a local jeweler in my area that had a lot of great ratings on Google. I just looked up "family jeweler CITY" and clicked through the options. I browsed their selections online, found a ring I loved (it's a lotus garnet), and made an appointment to view it in person. It's been great working with them so far and I'm so excited to go see/buy my ring :) It's a gorgeous ring.

I only know Mejuri because I like the complete opposite : minimalist & modern. I like that a big part of their branding was to be a brand for women to gift themselves diamonds and beautiful everyday jewelry

If you're looking for antique jewels that you can try on in person just Google search your city for shops that sell estate jewelry. You can find really good stuff at the smaller independent stores dedicated to antique & estate items.

I don’t wear jewelry other than watches, but if I were to buy a ring, I’d go to my authorized Rolex dealer. Mine carries some beautiful rings, and they even have a small bit gorgeous collection of estate jewelry.

Jewels by Grace do amazing rings and jewellery at a decent price especially if you like antique and vintage rings. If you like high end I'd also recommend Graff as their stones are ethical. Avoid department stores and etsy the markup is huge and the jewellery can be bad quality
