I just read a few romance novels this weekend to better understand the Bridgerton Netflix series.

The biggest fantasies that women have according to those novels are:

1) Being treated well 2) Being seen as a unique human being, not just desired due to physical attributes 3) Being longed for by someone who isn't broke or repulsive and is around the same age 4) Long term monogamy

Compare this to top porn searches (which are very degrading and sadistic). It's no contest.

Men who watch porn will never ever be satisfied with real life sex. They will always want more and more, and will find a way to make it twisted and filthy. Personally, if a man is interested in rough sex or anything that involves the degradation of a woman (me), then I'm just not interested. That's a massive red flag for me. I do not want a partner that gets off on my pain and humiliation. Don't get me started on dirty talk. Imagine calling the guy "my little whore" or "filthy little slut" during sex...they will instantly stop in their tracks. So if it's unacceptable to degrade them, why do they see it as almost natural to use those filthy terms on us?

There's so much shit going on in porn industry such as human trafficking, rape, abuse, pedophilia etc. By watching any porn one supports the industry, simple as that. Of course porn could be done "ethically" but you can never know what happens behind the scenes so you really shouldn't support the industry at all.

Men with LIVES, ambition, long-term goals, resolved emotional issues etc would not be engaging in porn anyway. Men with critical thought and respect for women would be uncomfortable watching porn.
