this is why I don't visit sob story subreddits. not even r/toastme. many men will cry a sob story that 3-5-x years of girlfriend left them or that their wives left them. yeah brad? I divorced my husband when he acted like this during the first and only pregnancy and also after the birth. I gave him a chance to change and show me something better, but he didn't even try, so I DIVORCED his ass. My pregnancy was also complicated and so was the birth. The fact he's as good as said he sees the 'relationship' as transactional is really scary to me. Imagine basically being bribed to spend quality time with the mother of your three children, 'how do i know you'll actually let me fuck you after I endure time alone with you?' YIKES. The lack of empathy is wild, she almost died birthing YOUR offspring and his concern is how often she puts out. Wow what a disgusting person he is, he literally said in the comments that he’s stopped being even just affectionate because he knows it won’t lead to sex.

Showing your partner (especially a pregnant & traumatized one) affection and love and support should NOT be fucking contingent on getting sex. I am so absolutely disgusted by this. It makes me angry in my heart and I just hope his wife can find the support she needs and the strength to stand up for her own needs and take care of herself.

Revolting. And you know that almost every single one is like this. Men conveniently leaving out health issues, age gap issues, porn addictions, the fact that he's morbidly obese, whatever. All that matters to them is sex, so they write it as manipulatively and deceitfully as possible to get validation.

Honestly, most of the men on there sound as if they suffer from hypersexual disorder and their partners have a normal libido, not "high libido" and "low libido" like they like to claim. There are medications they can take to knock that down to a normal level, let them think clearly without being hyper-focused on sex, and just generally relax and enjoy life more like a normal person instead of an animal. But of course, they'd have to admit that they're the problem first. 🙄
