A guy I cut off all contact with (or so I thought) messaged me on another social media platform at like 2am so I deleted the chat and blocked his ass lol no more 🙅🏻‍♀️ I only have bad memories and feelings associated with him.

This is very therapeutic. I actually did that with my ex’s stuff last week, and a couple of flings I had. I used to save all the pre-date chats from tinder and their photos as memorabilia ha ha. My ex was so shit and hurt me so I’d rather pretend it never happened.

Edit: I already grieved it, and learnt from it and came out stronger. So there was no point keeping mementos that could trigger me back to the beginning again and romanticise it (I.e. the dating profile pics and sweet first chats where they’re on their best behaviour). If I have to remember them, I’d rather remember the real them that came out towards the end of our interactions.
