This. But something left out is that women are EXPECTED to be the social, emotionally expressive ones, even in high paying jobs. Men can sit there and be the “silent and strong” type, but if a women is quiet or doesn’t wear much makeup at work it’s a recipe for disaster. She’ll be ostracized.

Why is this so true? I was looked down on for being a SAHM to two young children. I did all the cooking, cleaning and more while all the man did was be expected to go to work. I was ostracized and treated like a child. Yet when I got a job I was ostracized for not spending enough time with the children. When I stayed at home I was still expected to maintain my appearance despite being inside the house all day. When I worked if I maintained myself for my job I was asked “why I was dressing up so much?” Women can never win. My family took his side on everything too. It’s easier being a single parent then it is to be a “single” parent that also has to be in a relationship.

It’s not a “privilege” if you work for it.. if we had the diet/ exercise/ dress/ grooming/ communication habits of the average LVM we wouldn’t get any attention or free drinks either lol. When they talk about “female privilege” they’re only talking about young, attractive women.

Maybe a better way to word this would be that women are expected to perform femininity at ever-increasing levels while also taking on all of the male gender role as well. We're expected to be both man and woman and get nothing for it. Men get to be in a state of permanent adolescence with few if any consequences.

And what about the fact that women are physically weaker? Why is it liberal feminism wants to tell us to man up and equal lefts for equal rights? As if men aren’t stronger than women? Yet liberal AND conservative men still call weaker people “pussy” and laugh at women who try to physically stand up for themselves? So they KNOW they have physical privileges but also want to infringe on any we have (like choosing to abort or not wanting to work when pregnant?) This is my problem with mainstream feminism, it’s not equal in any sense of the matter, if anything it’s created more burdens for women and actually made things easier on men. If anything I’m hoping this shift into gamer men starts to dwindle the testosterone in future generations. If men keep at it by 2100 hopefully the physical playing field will be more leveled with T levels dropping in every generation.

They brush it off as "it is inequality" but they don't say anything when it comes to inequality in sex, where it is often the man who only cares about his pleasure.

Well, it is socially acceptable to only care about your pp when it comes to sex, I don't hear any complains about inequality now.

I saw this video on TikTok where the creator asked what was the smallest reason you've stopped speaking to a man. One lady said "he was grown and couldn't read". Someone commented that she was being unfair and what if he had a learning disability. The lady was strong and stood her ground saying she's not cool with that either and that's OK.

Women are expected to just accept men for who they are, warts and all. The world doesn't like that we have standards and expectations. Oh well.
