It's not about "deserving" there is no moral imperative to dating. People do not get the spouse they "deserve"

People end up with people who they (I assume) liked and we're willing to settle down with. You can be a good "moral" and "deserving" person and end up with a bad marriage just because things didn't work out. You could be a terrible person, but managed to find someone you love and are compatible with.

Honestly odds are a Chad will end up with a stacy because they'll come from the same social networks (assuming party boy gets with party girl). Their sexualities and sexual values are probably compatible with each other.

If he deserves a good person depends on whether or not he is a good person, not the specific number he has slept with. For example if he had safe, consensual one night stands with 20 women who also wanted the same thing, that’s a lot different than a guy who has cheated/lied/manipulated his way into 20 different women’s’ pants.
