In ancient Mesopotamia if a man accuses another man of death and fails to prove the crime then the accuser shall be put to death instead of the accused. We really should have something along those lines now, if you falsely accuse someone (not fail to prove but proven to be a fraudulent accusation) then the accuser should receive the punishment the accused would have received if the crime had been real.

Back in the 70’s, my dad and his brother had just graduated and were starting their jobs as anesthesiologists. His brother had just gotten married and had twins, and my dad described him as the happiest person he’d ever seen during that time.

One day his best friend’s teenage sister claimed he raped her at a football party. He lost his job that he spent his entire life working towards, his wife left him, he was labeled a pedophile and lost the ability to see his kids, and he lost pretty much everyone and everything in his life.

He started drinking constantly, abusing drugs, and then ending his own life.

After he had died (only a few family members went to his funeral, and nobody else), the “victim” told her friend that she lied about it because she was mad that he made it into med school and that her brother never did. Her friend reported it and they “cleared his name”, which meant nothing because he was dead. I think she got a year in juvie or something. That’s it.

He lost literally everything over a lie.

1st. The accused should not be found guilty unless they are evidence that can supports the accusation. 2nd. If the accused is found not guilty than an investigation of the accuser should immediately began. 3rd. If the accuser is found guilty of lying about the rape/& or molestation. Than the accuser should receive the same amount of time that the accused would of received. 4th. Those found guilty of falsifying rape/& or molestation charges should live with a public registration similar to that of sex offenders. This will deter a lot of the false accusations.

It is so rare to be able to prove that a woman is lying about a rape accusation. Most of the time it's only a dismissal because there is not enough evidence (yes sometimes depending on the country and the court you need evidence to convict a man).

They should make an example of this to fight against the 90% of rape accusations that are false. Sentencing her to 20 years in prison as for rape would have served as an example and saved many unjustly imprisoned men.
