We know that in heterosexual dating favors tall man and short women leaving out tall women and short man .(Yes I know short man have it bad but tall women also have their own dating struggles )

We seldom see a short man with a tall women .Same sex relationships and interracial dating are normalized meanwhile most men and women want to stick with the traditional tall men -short women trope .Honestly I live in a pretty liberal city and I hardly see a tall women with a short man .

As a tall women I feel like confident short man secure in their masculinity and confident tall women secure in their femininity can make a power couple .

From my observation we often see short man insecure about being short and tall women insecure about being tall so both groups avoid each other .For worse , short man will bring too much attention to a tall women height fetishizing her and treating her like a novelty /sexual fantasy eg a short man views a Tall women as a Strong Dominant Amazon. .

On the other hand Tall women can be quite nasty to short man .I’ve seen many tall women complain about being single and then dismiss all the short man that are interested in them or believe a short man is creepy for being interested in them .Lastly I hear tall women complain short man make them feel more manly and cannot protect them .

Conclusion :Both groups perpetuate stereotypes about each other .Short man assume Tall women are dominant and tall women assume short man are weak .I feel like both groups can come together and help break gender norms .
