This is actually true, I think men really need to go out of their way to snub these types of women who think that a relationship is just a way for them to score free money after having a kid and have everything done for them. It should be considered a major red flag for any relationship if a woman isn't willing to contribute anything.

So hear me out, I'd even be ok with having a woman in that sort of homemaker position in our relationship.

However, the girls I've even wasted time on who didn't have a degree, were broke, etc etc... None of them would do anything around the house either. No cooking. No cleaning. Literally they brought sex to the table and that was fucking all. If Im going to have to do everything anyway picking up someone from the bar for the night is a better deal financially. At best Im not having to pay any added cost of another person living with me, and at worst I might have to give some cab fare.

There is so much men and women can learn from each other.

That is not only a more benevolent, less adversarial way of putting it. It is true.

We discuss quite a bit what women can learn from men. Be less worried, but of course not unconcerned, about sexual assault. Take on more responsibility. Stop overobsessing about victimhood. Step up. Show more self confidence, but do so wisely and strategically.

But there is just as much men can learn from women. Do not be blinded by beauty, but judge the character of your partners carefully - there is mental illness out there, and with a bit of common sense, you can often spot it. Take care of yourself better - do yoga, eat healthy, learn to love yourself, ask yourself if obsessive work fulfills you. Insist on your right to be an engaged father. Avoid unnecessary risk - your safety matters. Speak out about your problems and needs without overobsessing about them. Take care of other men just like you would women and children.

The worst thing men can do: engage in the same myopic, outraged defeatism of the kind of feminism we here, rightly but at times obsessively, criticise. Nothing good can come of that, neither for the gender debate nor for our own personal well-being.

Perhaps, as a gay man, this is more clear to me than to most men.

My boyfriends brother is learning this the hard way. Hes been dating a girl and living with her for a year, and dating her for 2. She got divorced from her husband about 5-6 years ago, and has not had a steady job since. Shes been living off the alimony her ex was paying, because she was a stay at home mom since she got married and did not have a degree. That alimony ended a year ago.

In between her husband and her boyfriends brother, she lived with a guy for 3 or so years, and had child #5. So she broke up with him and got with my boyfriends brother. They are renting a house together where he paid 95% of everything, because she never had a steady job.

They broke up 2 weeks ago. In this big house, she is staying the upstairs, while he has been relegated to the finished basement. They have several months left on the lease, and hes trying to figure out what to do. He can afford it by himself, hes a contractor that owns 2 different companies, and makes pretty good money. Shes trying to "work things out" because she doesn't know where she will go if things end. Shes very attractive, and its pretty apparent shes just floated by on her looks her whole life. Now that shes approaching mid-40s, it has stopped working so well.

My boyfriend is trying to get him to end it, and move on, but he wants to keep it going. I don't know why men support women they are not married to. You are throwing money away.

Once upon a time, this is how it worked:

A man would work his hardest to become a provider. A woman would save her virginity until marriage. The man would agree provide for the woman for her entire life and what he got in exchange for all of his hard work was a loyal, loving, virginal wife who would provide him with children and her most beautiful years. This was a system that worked. It gave each sex incentive to be the best they could be.

Then feminism's "sexual liberation" bullshit happened. Now what's happening is women are whoring around their younger years while still expecting a man to pay full price for their used goods. They don't cook. They don't clean. They are aborting our children and the cock carousel has caused them to lose their ability to pair bond. A lot of men are starting to catch on. If you're not going to be the best wife you can be, damn well don't expect your husband to be the best either.

I'm not saying we need to go back, that's unrealistic. I'm saying it's ridiculous for these women to expect a 1920's man in 2019.

The problem comes from generations of Western women being raised to think "Find a man" is their safety net. Once they hook a guy, it's literally socially/morally acceptable to stop working towards life goals, and just become a 100% dependent.

Men don't have that option. Men are told from the day their born that they're going to have to work hard to provide for themselves, AND the women they'll inevitably end up with.

If she has similar interests to you, then fuck looks. If she isn’t asking you for money, then you’re going well. If she doesn’t try to say that everything you say is wrong and all she says is right, then you’re pretty damn good.

It’s okay to be wrong, but it’s also okay to be right. Not everything has to happen as you see it. Sometimes there’s another truth to what you think. Know when to listen to her, know when to trust your own gut feeling. She is human, you are human. And for those that like men, same deal applies. Either of you can be right or wrong on a subject. For women, same thing.

In short, if there is a balance in who is right or wrong, there is a good relationship. Especially when you aren’t with someone that steals your money or has completely separate interests.

Another thing... some people do have needs you are required to fulfill. You can’t be the guy to think, “I have a girlfriend/wife, I am now superior and don’t need to do anything further.” That guy will end up being abusive to the woman he is with. She is there to help you, but you need to help her too.
