Whenever somebody has video evidence, I am always hoping that they let the "victim" give as much of a report as possible and then mention "oh yeah I have everything on video".

I'd love to see liars getting perjury/false reporting added to their list of charges.

I am really impressed with the officer (though I shouldn't have to be) for not blasting in, yelling at him to get on his stomach, cuffing him right away, etc. That's how I always see it happen and wonder why cops can't fucking listen to what's being said to them for two fucking seconds. This time the cop listened, viewed the evidence, and did the right thing. It's unfortunate this is the "unexpected" result and that video evidence is necessary for a man to fight false domestic assault charges, but at least it worked in this case.

I wish in cases like false rape accusation and stuff it will eventually be an acceptable legal defense to stand up in court and say "Your honor what has been asserted without evidence shall be dismissed without evidence"

This happened to me. I had a gf freak out and try to stab me with a shard of broken glass that she had just created (throwing dishes) in her rage. She then told everyone at my college that I was abusive and dangerous. Long story short, in her rage, she had forgotten that I took a short video during her rage in which she punches me in the face and claims to be about to "break my fucking glasses". The school admins apologized for inconveniencing me. Nothing happened to her legally or socially. I don't even think many people know about it outside of those under the impression that I am abusive.
