To all the men of this subreddit, and men around the world, I really feel for you. I'm an 18 year old girl, in my final year of high school and in the past couple of years, I've realised how sexist most modern feminists and the media are and how little women want to acknowledge that they are doing the wrong thing. I'm fed up that this generation of women (in the developed world) still believe they are oppressed. I'm fed up that every time I try to stick up for a man I'm being told to "stop that, they've been oppressing us for centuries, it's our turn now". I'm fed up that whenever I turn on the TV I see a panel of sexist women that believe they should be the dominant sex, and laugh it off when serious men's rights issues are brought up. I'm fed up that the stupid 'wage gap' is still a thing, and that every woman I speak to refuses to look at the facts. I'm fed up that men are made to look like evil people that only know how to beat and rape. I'm fed up that fathers never win custody battles purely because they are men. I'm fed up with the lack of services for men e.g. homeless shelters and domestic violence support centres. Overall I'm really just sick of it. How are we allowed to be so harsh and cruel towards men and not be punished for it?

The thing that upsets me the most, is that this generation to come is worse than ever. My peers at school think that men's rights are a big joke. It really scares me to think that men don't have a voice.

Let me finish off with saying that I want to help. I don't know how I'm supposed to, but I want to. If anyone can think of a better way for me to be fighting harder and stronger for the rights of men in this world of feminist extremists then I absolutely want to know it.

Edit: a word oops

Edit #2: obviously an apology on behalf of all women was not the way to go about this, but i appreciate everyone's kind words! Dealing with sexist people in this day and age is not something that should still be happening and clearly it is but you lot have given me some good tips on how to deal with people that are blind to the facts. Also thank you to those who gave me some options with how i can properly advocate for this issue a bit better!
