I hope that it works out for you. But from what it's reading this may very well come to bite you in the butt.

You've shown your hand too soon. Getting actual adultry evidence may be harder as both parties are now probably scrubbing proof that it happened. What evidence do you have of adultry other than a warm hug and a kiss? Do you have pictures of them in the act? How about text messages or emails about their sexual happenings?
Your tracking someone else's car (not your property). Depends on the state but this evidence may be thrown out and worse- really show you in a bad light in the courts.

I've delt a lot with lawyers down this route. My wife also cheated on me, multiple times. So I'm just giving you what little information i've been able to get.

Be careful about putting GPS trackers on any car other than your own. Many states have very specific laws about the legality of that. You could end up in a great deal of trouble doing this. Even if you own the car but your spouse drives it, a judge may look unfavorably on that activity. Consult an attorney first.

It all depends on what your primary objective is....having the evidence can help you get leverage if she doesn't want her parents, his wife or their coworkers to find out about the affair. Some women don't plan for their whole life to be blown up like that, the thought never even crosses their mind while they are in the affair fog.

One of my friends did that to his cheating wife. He had a friend of his follow her to the AP's house.

He confronted her at first, but didn't say he had evidence. She denied it for over 20 minutes.

And then he said, "ok, here is his address and here is his name and here is when you went there this past monday."

They're divorced now.

The fact that you put a GPS on her car suggests none no GPS tracking was necessary. You had obviously lost trust in her (maybe for good reason). Without trust, the relationship was already over. The fact that you confirmed that she wasn't trustworthy is irrelevant.

The 5 hours you spent stalking her was aggressive, unnecessary, intrusive, and belies some unresolved pain you have with what is happening. It might be better to address that pain in therapy than in a criminal court proceeding. "Sad ex-husband" is a title more easily worn than "criminal defendant."
