I would skip the games and publish the context of the affair to family and friends, so they know what happened from your perspective. I love the fact that your going hard line and saying screw the marriage- you cheated-> you got caught-> its over. OP, Congratulations on taking a strong stance. Your self respect will thank you later.

This is what happens when people do bad things and there are consequences. Fuck around and find out. You could go gray rock, do the 180/no contact and go live your best life. She might figure out one day, you moved on and maybe she’ll get the hint, pack up and leave on her own.

Only 29?

Old Dude here. Got married at 31. There are lingering issues and problems and bad feelings from my divorce that will drag on into my old age. There's hardly ever a "clean break", especially once you have kids and ongoing alimony and constant disputes over this and that.

You've been married one year? No kids? You're only 29? Jesus Christ, son, the world is your oyster. I'm downright jelly. The next year or so will suck, especially with legal bills. But very soon, you'll be chilling on some warm distant beach, beer in hand, king of the world. Look forward to that.

I thought PA had a fault option, no? Key is to file, lock everything down financially. If she just wants to sit around and wait it out its up to her. She'll most likely change her mind once she is served.

whether she signs or not, the divorce can still be finalized after a specific period of time.

Is she shame-able? I would make a FB page with her face plastered all-over it and an itemized list of her lies, cheating, and other transgressions against you.

Tell her you will link it to everyone of her friends, family, coworkers, etc. Let her know you will not take it down until the court receives her SIGNED copy of the duvorce.

In the USA the truth is a perfect defense against claims of libel/slander. If you live in another country then consult a lawyer in your area.

Stop being nice!

I live in Texas and my divorce was finalized without her signing anything granted certain conditions must be met but it happens

Depending on your state and family laws, for me my ex she had to be served with the papers and then I had to wait for her to respond to them without me having to talk to her , the lawyer I hired put in a clause in the papers, not sure how enforceable it was but it helped, the lawyer asked in them that she would be made responsible for attorney fees if she dragged it on for too long in the end after we were married for almost 19 years, she didn't answer the papers and refused to show up to court for the prove up hearing, the judge granted the divorce without her signature or even being there

Do some research about it and see what can be done
