Always was suspicious about one guy in her job. He’s married to a great woman who I also know. My wife and this guy get to travel away on business frequently.

What peaked my interest was that I met him at a party a few years back and he seemed to have a lot more information on me than someone in his position should. I also noticed they were being scheduled a lot of trips together.

Anyway screened all her messages apart from this one guy, everything else fairly innocuous.

When I click on this guys name, messages between them are encrypted🤷‍♂️

Like WTF, I’m a tech and never used this? Certain she wouldn’t know how to even turn that feature on.

Edit. I’ve just gone through the process of how to set up end to end encryption and sure enough it’s damm near a smoking gun.

One WhatsApp user would scan a code on the others phone and they would accept it to enable encryption. A team effort.

It’s also given me context around the coldness and bitterness. Appears she’s been getting it elsewhere.
