Focus on be a great father when the kids are with me. Gym, eating heathy. I got into motorcycles and now do more back country camping. Fire up the apps every 6 months or so to bang some thirsty divorcees.

I enjoy my alone time now, I'm living how I want.

Picked up golf and it changed everything!! Tons of new friends in local men’s club. I hop out of bed at 7am on Saturdays with a big shit eating grin and thank my ex wife for her treachery which allows me to golf frequently.

I started a new business plan - beer and wine taproom. Due to Fed decisions perhaps it’s not the right time but I’m laying down the mental ground work which is interesting. Maybe something like this would give you some reason barring paying off a mortgage

You’re like many men, your family was your life & routine. That got stripped away and now you feel lost. We’ve all been there to some extent.

So what now? Well, what would it have been if she was never there & you’d never had kids? What did you used to like to do? Have any friends whatsoever you can lean upon? Tell them how you feel if you do.

Ask yourself what you’ve always wanted to do, and go try it. I got into archery. I thought I’d really get back into drums, but it hasn’t quite happened. Still riding motorcycles though!

I know you’re still hurting but have you considered dating? Even some non-dating social groups like on Meetup? Plenty of opportunity there to meet others and try new things.

How about the gym? Show up there regularly and soon the other regulars will start chatting with you.

Need more money & work? Best paying on-call jobs you can do in free time are washing windows & detailing cars. The latter needs little equipment.

The longest journey begins with the first step. No one can take that step for you. Pick something and head that way.

Get comfortable with yourself again.
If you're strapped, consider some side hustle for cash.
Plan a trip abroad.
Do some volunteering or charity work.
Learn something new.
