Hey guys, I hope this is helpful to a few of you still battling it out there.

So I won! What does winning look like you ask?

Despite everyone saying it could not be done, I did it! I kept the house, kept the original 2.5% mortgage and only paid her the estimated net proceeds on very conservative estimated sales price. I made her take into account her estimated half of the closing costs and realtor commissions. Even my own lawyer said it was not possible, people were also advising that I just sell the house. I refused and said fuck’em and fuck her!

I don’t owe alimony. I’m Currently in the best shape of my life. Have been working out maybe 4-5 times a week. Been hitting the dating apps and have gone through countless dates and enjoyed the company of many beautiful women. All of them treat me better than my ex did and go out of their way to get me to settle with them.

I don’t enjoy playing with people’s feelings but I feel an obligation to be more selective and take my time. I haven’t found a girl I’d like to go the distance with yet. I may have some trust issues and may still be a bit broken inside. Though on paper I may come across as a player, that’s really not the case. I just don’t trust women anymore and have learned that you have to be selfish for them to respect you and want you unfortunately.

My ex seemed upset, almost crying when I told her the bank had approved my loan assumption application. Not sure why she was routing for me to fail. It didn’t really affect her directly, she had already been paid and she was the one who asked for the divorce.

Also got promoted into management with a nice pay bump and a brand new luxury company car. No more anxiety attacks for me either. I will not deny she left a few scars though.

I share this as a positive experience and hope that you fellas don’t just let your ex have her way at your expense. It was hell but the outcome was worth it. Sometimes I even contemplated taking my life but glad I didn’t let those stupid thoughts take over, instead I found energy to fight back.
