You need to handle this is the following way if you want this to be clean.

Need to keep your GF completely out of your kids lives right now. If she’s a keeper she’ll understand. If she’s not around, no accusations can be made. Courts don’t care about GFs and will place a court order for YOU to not allow GF to be around for any stupid, unsubstantiated reason.
Second, never allow GF to interact in anyway with ex. Have GF block ex on everything. Now, if ex harasses, have the GF file a TRO with you completely out of the picture.

Set boundaries with your stbx and don't provoke situations that could provide them the possibility to throw down. If you new gf wants to throw hands, maybe you might rethink that friendship? Don't you have enough drama? Decrease the drama!

My ex falls squarely in the ‘crazy’ range. If I allowed, it would impact all parts of my life. I don’t allow it. I work hard apologizing for her bad behavior and keeping fallout from her to a minimum.

The ex doesn’t talk to my girlfriend. I do my best to limit any interactions at all between them. No good would come from any of that. You should follow this script. Limit the interactions and handle issues yourself before they become issues big enough you’re contemplating having your stbx and girlfriend fight.

I can’t believe that you’re even contemplating, for a second, letting the new girl “throw down”. Bluntly, both the wife and the girlfriend sound like trash.
What you really need to do is stop dating until your divorce is over. Baring that, get a restraining order. Do not, under any circumstances, allow those women to communicate

If you’re not legally divorced with an agreement signed then what are you doing dating? You’re going to cost yourself a lot of time and money riling her up. At bare minimum keep it top secret how does your stbx even know?

Harassing new gf is a pretty easy layup for a restraining order. Anything that could make you or gf seem like an aggressor (or even a coequal participant) is something to avoid.
