I used to frequent TheRedPill and my interactions with women were calculated according to their rules on how to keep a romantic partner interested. I would purposely ignore the messages of my partners, make it clear on snapchat that I was ignoring them and doing something more interesting to get her jealous...all of the manipulative bullshit that I'm sure you're all aware of. These strategies really did work. I did not treat them with disrespect. I was simply using these strategies to gain more attraction. I was "playing games". After a while I got tired of being "fake". I decided to abandon the ideas of TRP and find my own path. I wanted to stop playing these childish "games" and find someone who is down for that type of person. This led me to a recent girlfriend. We were dating for a month and she was a great girlfriend but she just called me and broke up with me. Her main reason being that I liked her way more than she liked me and she thought it would be a problem later on because she would not be able to reciprocate those feelings. I didn't put her on a pedestal, I simply treated her the way I felt at the time...which was with a lot of affection. Everything I did in this relationship I did because I wanted to. Instead of waiting a few days to message her like I used to, I messaged her everyday because I wanted to keep up with my girlfriend. I am a naturally affectionate person however this experience is leading me to believe that a little bit of drama and excitement isn't so terrible at the end of the day. Maybe some of TRP has some merit. Obviously I don't subscribe to their misogynistic agenda, but I am starting to realize that it's not inherently wrong to make a girl chase you. It's all in good fun isn't it? What are your thoughts?
