I don't think 3,900,000,00 people all have the same preference for anything, let alone romantic partners.

What do you mean by 'masculine' it's a bit nebulous as a concept.

I also don't know if I think the media does say yes. Not categorically with no other examples, at the very least.

My husband is under 6 foot tall (I don't know how tall exactly, I know it's under 6 foot and taller than me - I'm 5'3), I think he's handsome but someone else once described him as 'looking like a school shooter' and followed it up by asking 'has anyone ever fucked this guy??' (not knowing that I was there and his girlfriend). He does not go to the gym etc. I'm not going to talk about my husband's penis with random strangers on the internet.

At the exact same time I met my husband, I met his friend who is 6'2, an ex-Rugby player and blond with a very classically handsome jawline. I have no idea about his penis size, that would be a super weird thing for me to know. He wasn't the person I got on with better and I never attempted to pursue a relationship or anything else with him, because I really got on well with the man who would become my husband.

The man I was dating before I met my husband was over 6 foot and went to the gym. I have no idea if people would classify as handsome. I'm not going to talk about his penis. I ended that relationship because we were just not compatible in the long term.

A friend of mine is physically not traditionally masculine. (baby face, short, super slim) His face is almost a 1:1 copy of his pretty sister.

Yet he has the most success with women out of our friends group and most of us are way taller and traditionally masculine looking. (Beard, tall, „jawlines“, muscles)

So I have it in good authority that you don’t have to be „masucline“ to get women.

As others are saying, this is a part of the nebulous answer "everyone has their own preferences". Which is simply true - with the literally billions of women in the world, everyone prefers something different. My girlfriend's mom married and was physically attracted to a fairly large, overweight man - and she was very aware of his weight, too.

I've always been a thinner guy, preferring sports that either focus on endurance or don't favor a more muscular build (climbing, long-distance hiking, running). I've not had much of an issue dating or finding people interested in me, even though I'm very much thinner and less bulky then bodybuilders or people who play sports that require more explosive muscle mass.

As for "masculine" - well, that really depends on your culture and the culture of those you're interested in. I'm not classically masculine in that I don't care about cars, hunting, mechanical objects, bodybuilding, etc. I danced ballet in undergrad, worked in college radio, am a massive death metal fan, and have lived in my car for months at a time when going hiking. And yet, my girlfriend absolutely loves those things and finds my interests interesting.

As a lady, some women prefer more feminine appearing men. Some women like short guys and hate muscles. Some women think big dicks are painful in bed.

You will notice more of a versatility if you do a big dive into female targeted media instead of just male targeted media. It's the same way some guys prefer certain heights, hair colors, or body sizes. Everyone has a preference.

So the answer to your question is no. Not all women prefer tall, masculine, and handsome men with big dicks. You need to remove the word “all” from your vocabulary. Women are not a monolith. If this new wave of Korean boy bands has taught us anything it’s that women view masculinity very differently than men. Men think of masculinity in its most basic form. You must look the part of an alpha male and assert your dominance by ruling over others to communicate to females you have the “superior genes”. Women don’t usually see things this way.

I hear more guys complaining about girls wanting tall, masculine, big dicked men than women actually saying those things. We see masculinity as a spectrum, not a rigid archetype. It’s why soft boys on tiktok and characters like Loki are considered peak boyfriend material over the gym bros and Thor. Look under any post of a man with a manicure or skin care routine and there will be dozens of thirsty women saying how hot it is that a man is practicing self care. This, of course, will inevitably be followed by a string of men calling them names for deviating away from what they believe makes a “real” man. It’s clear to me that men don’t actually know what women want. They know what they think women want and project those insecurities onto women.

Hey op thankfully women have a wide variety of preferences. Yes, being tall, muscular, and handsome will give you a slight advantage with most women, but attraction is way more complicated than that. Having confidence, social skills, and your life together is a much bigger advantage than being tall and handsome with your average women and most guys are capable of attaining these attributes.

Everyone has their own preferences. Most women I know, especially as they get older, seek out men that put them at ease. That's rarely a muscle-bound person. In fact, in most of the polyamorous/sex-positive circles I've been to, and the play [read: sex] parties I've attended, the majority of the men are of average (or less than average) height, fitness, and size. It's much more about their attitude and comfort. It's not always the case, but it's increasingly so, especially as years go on.

My physical preference is closer to the "softboi" stereotype. Smaller (I am 6 ft tall) and more passive (to balance with my aggressive personality). No preference for penis, as long as I can feel it and it doesn't hurt. There is a "too small" (both for height and genitalia), but I am more strict with the "too big".

Most women I know have dated way off their type with good enough guys. Preferences in the end are just that, preferences.

Also, there are misconceptions around, like "soft boys can't be manly in bed" and "big penis = aggressive and sexually insatiable". Once you understand how fake they often are, you become more open to try different things.

As a woman, masculinity is over-rated. It can get toxic really quickly. A healthy amount can be attractive, but it is definitly not a defining factor for most women (at least not me).

This is my opinion.

Women are not a monolith. It is up to you to find a woman who appreciates and is attracted to what you have to offer. A woman not being attracted to you is not necessarily a bad thing either, you just wern't meant for each other.

In the west: Younger girls correlate more to this but as they mature they tend to prefer the opposite.

In other countries it differs widely depending on the country sbd what they view as masculine men.

Take the K pop star craze in eastern countries as example.

At end of day we are bio-psycho-SOCIAL creatures and our sociality plays a huge role to the context of how we choose mates as much as biology and psychology which is a combination of the two or nature/nurture.

So here’s the thing- it all depends on what way you want to interpret the words “tall” “big dick” “handsome” “wealthy” etc.

When most women say these words (and I know because I am one) we mean for them to be defined in comparison to us. Not in comparison to other men.

When a woman says she likes a tall man, she means taller than her, not taller than other men. When a woman says she wants a guy with a nice/big dick, she means thicker and maybe longer than her own fingers, not bigger or thicker than other mens. When a woman says she wants a wealthy guy, she means she wants a guy with more money than her. Etc etc.

Men like you who are stuck in these ruts can’t give women enough subjectivity to see that we compare you to us. Stop giving the power to other men if you’re trying to impress a woman. Really look at what we actually want and not what you and other men think/say that we want.

And remember the most important thing- women are not a hive mind and we don’t all want the same thing. So how about instead of asking men what women want, you go and talk to women as individuals humans and ask them what they want.

I was also thinking a while ago that there may be a confusion of terms. What is masculine to me maybe something more feminine in RedPill or the other way around. And I think I'm not the only one who thinks that term has at least a partly subjective definition.

I often joke with my friends that "Ew, that guy's not for me, he looks too straight" or "he has too much of a 'man face'".

I'm bi and I like efeminate guys, delicate men, guys with baby face and tall, gangly guys. There's a type of guy I think would be described as "masculine" that I also tend to be atracted to, large, chubby guys with beards.

I think part of why I don't find traditionally masculine guys atractive is cause they strike me as more likely to be either cis straight average guys with whom I won't have much in common or sexist guys who think being "confident" means being an arrogant asshole.

Edit to say: just look at the amount of women thirsting over Brian David Gilbert (myself included) and you have your answer

On the one hand, in theory I'd like an attractive guy, sure. Who wouldn't I guess? Dont you want an attractive woman in theory??

In reality, it really doesnt matter a jot to me. As long as I dont find them repulsive, appearance is ok.

Ive only ever been put off purely by physical appearance for one guy, and he was morbidly obese (John Candy plus).

Otherwise, one ex was 6ft 7in and like a bean pole.

The most attractive, sexy guy I ever dated, I actually didnt like physically at first - not very tall, bald, dad bod. Nothing to write home about. But as I wasnt repulsed and went with it. And as I got to know him, I totally and utterly fell for him. He became physically the sexiest man ever, because of who he was and what he meant to me. Incidentally too, I had the best sex ever with him - and he had a small dick.
