In the naive dream world I live in, I would prefer to believe that before online porn was a thing, that most guys would feel some initial attraction to younger girls but would never consider acting upon it. Because the stigma against it was strong. Sure, some men obviously still acted on it (think "Lolita") but the stigma was there, along with angry brothers and fathers who would beat the crap out of them for trying anything.
Now, access to porn makes it "normal" and the Internet makes grooming, and increased, easy access to young girls so much a bigger thing.
I blame ubiquitous porn most of all. It unleashes the devil.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but men have been doing whatever they could get away with for centuries, and if anything the strictures allowing them to get away with this stuff have TIGHTENED over the last 40-50 years or so. Porn and its contents are a response to the fact that they can't get away with as much as they used to be able to in other contexts.
In the 70s and 80s when my parents were coming up people were trying to fuck 13 year olds openly, all over the place. It wasn't remotely rare. And do some research on child prostitution in the Victorian era? Like, what stigma???

I'm now in my thirties but when I was younger, in a country with a AOC of 14 years old, we all understood that we did things to each other lol. 14 and 15 year olds experimenting, and that in a place where we all knew about birth control. The disturbing part is all the actresses in the teen category are 25-29ish even early 30s but they don’t let them look like young women.

I used to watch porn when I was younger and still figuring things out. I remember seeing a video with a random generic title and clicking on it, and it was a very obviously a young teenage girl performing oral sex on a hairy man in the dark with a dead, far away look in her eyes. Thousands of views, I think it was PH.
It was really surreal, because I had genuinely thought there was only two kinds of porn: pictures and videos of legal adults pretending, and content of children that only cops and retired gym teachers would ever see, because it was so illegal that it was only shared in the dark web.
When people defend teen porn as being actors in their 20s I think of that video and I wish I could unsee it :( I didn't report it I was only [too young to be looking at that kind of thing] years old.

I also got into it at young age and the stuff I saw was so disturbing. When I was 15 I found out not all the content on there was monitored and I freaked out. I thought it was absurdly ridiculous anyone could upload anything.
The fact that the common words next to teen include force punish and gang rape is also concerning.
I understand it is “fantasy” as people write it off as but it’s so inherently harmful. Personally, I believe men fall on a terrible to decent spectrum. The concept of HV and LV is too black and white. All men are all controlled by their penises. All men are irreversibly socialized to view women as objects and providers of services. All men have internalized misogyny.
That being said, none can be truly “good” or “high value” men. However, there are decent men. They harbor inherently negative male traits, but were raised better, or have more emotional intelligence, for example.
If you find a decent one, who adds net positive value to your life, then good. Men can offer financial stability, for example, which is positive. The problem arises when women fall under the delusion that their man is “different” and does not think or act like most men.
