It is very hard to find like-minded lady friends. All of my old friends are no longer in my life because they are too busy chasing men who use and abuse them, and they tolerate it and find excuses for the, just so that they can get married and have kids!

I wish there was a way more direct way to meet and connect IRL with FDS-minded women.

I had this thought before going to bed last night. What if all of my friends supported each other and didnt ditch me. What if when they were lonely instead of seeking men on apps they sought me or our other friends out. LVMs would hold no power anymore when that happens since no one is pining for them. The pickmes would become HVWs thanks to their constant company of women.

Ladies, I'm lucky enough to have a couple very HV women friends.

Don't be discouraged if you don't have any right now. I encourage you to invite a woman you admire to lunch or express to her how much you enjoy your conversations. Please don't be afraid of rejection, initiating and investing time and effort into other women has really paid off for me. So take that step and invite an interesting women out with you!

I'm definitely in the same boat. Although, I used to be a LVW who valued male validation above all else. I'm leveling up now though, and looking back, most of my good friends were pickmes. One friend complained about how her husband was a bully and yelled at her a lot, yet she stayed with him because of his ethnicity. Another one of my closest friends was cheating on her husband, and was STILL looking for other guys outside her husband AND her boyfriend, because she literally could not survive without a man to take care of her. She admitted her husband treated her like crap and she still stays with him.

Another couple girlfriends I had, stayed in situationships and openly chased men, and the other woman gave me terrible advice about relationships. When my last ex made literally zero effort, she conviced me to stay with him because "oh look he's trying so hard!" When he actually wasn't.

I'm starting to identify more HVW in my life and am working to get closer to them. You ladies on FDS are amazing too, and I'd 100% do a meetup once COVID is over!

Wow the timing. Just tonight I reconnected with an old friend who used to intimate me with how confident and successful she is. We got to chatting and she wanted to grab a coffee once restrictions in our area let up. She said the longer she is single the less she wants to date. I'm so glad I reached out.

This makes me think of that one show My Five Wives when the one wife had a serious cancer scare. The other four women plotted and while she was at an appointment they rushed over to her house and started deep cleaning, rounding up her and her children’s dirty clothes to wash, and whipping up meals she and her children liked. Of course it was their idea and the husband was no where to be found. All he could do was be like “omg babe I’m sorry” and give her some puppydog eyes. So useless. That show could have been sooo good if they just scrapped the husband and called it The Five Wives and it was about them raising their kids together in a sisterhood.

I was in touch with hardly any irl friends before quarantine. Now I've made so many good female friendships on discord. This has been so refreshing and our relationship is better because I'm getting more emotional needs met elsewhere
