I just resurfaced from a 7 page deep dive into that sub and I can confirm this is 100% accurate. I really feel for the woman who's 7mo has a cow dairy allergy and has to keep him dairy free for 7 months, just hit 4 months and FIL fed him a muffin with dairy. LVM husband sided with the FIL of course, but even this poor woman's mother is telling her she's overreacting. I just wanted to scream.

I literally just read one there where a woman asked if she was the AH because she took the kids out for dinner without her husband because the husband "forgot" (actually willingly neglected to after seeing there was nothing to make sandwiches in the fridge) to feed the kids all day because he was working from home and got caught in a 4-hour meeting...even though he insisted he could handle the childcare duties.

And 70% of the replies were ESH. Some were even saying the woman should hace made alternate arrangements for childcare or feeding her kids (husband is the stepfather) because the husband should prioritize work over childcare even while WFH.

I was so disgusted. At least some were sane enough to say the sensible thing, that he could do like so many others WFH are now forced to do and take a few minutes to order food for children who cannot do so on their own.

I just don't know why the mother-in-law has to be the bad guy in this hypothetical example. Men are the problem, and then patriarchy, and then sometimes women, in that order.
