This is exactly what our internal dialogue looks like when we listen to men’s words and not their actions.

It’s easy judge how cringe this is to watch but if you’ve been here before you will be here again. We have to be willing to walk away without acknowledgement or apologies from him.

He better figure out a way to work the friend into your plans or pick different timing with the friend around your plans.

People who actually give a shit about the person who should be most important to them don't bail on plans. They figure out a way to make it work and be inclusive without leaving their partner or the old friend hanging.
