I always ask “What if I was Megan Fox {insert any famous hot person?}”

• Would he forget to reply to her text? • Not be able to afford a decent meal (hint- you’d see his car in CL before that)? • Ask her to buy the next round (even when she makes more than him)? • Ditch Megan Fox for his mates? • Wouldn’t be ready to commit, because his last relationship was tough?

It really clears up 99% of problems. But it hurts to accept that he’s just not that into YOU.

Look at Johnny Depp. He was with the woman who bore his kids for 14 years and couldn’t pop the question (because it’s only a piece of paper and the timing was bad amirite?)but married the next young thing that came along. Case in point.

This is true but sometimes men are just as clingy as they claim women are. I’ve had men that I was simply TALKING to, not even dating yet, be like “did you forget about me?” If I went more than an hour without talking to them. So I guess I’m sensitive to both sides of this issue, lol.

I don’t expect anyone to call or text me while they’re busy, especially if they’re at work, just as long as I’m aware of the situation. My only issue is if they just disappear and don’t talk to me all day. Even if they’re just hanging out with family or friends and don’t want to be glued to their phone the whole time, I’m fine with that as long as they tell me that’s what they’re doing.

Struggling with this myself - went on 3 dates with somebody I thought was HVM before the lockdown. He basically has reduced all contact to once a week (barely) after I asked him what was going to happen - we agreed to half things slowly but not this slow! He also sent me a message saying he understands if I don’t want to speak to him because he’s not available right now (he is, he isn’t working, he’s posting videos etc ok Instagram & Facebook - he just isn’t available for ME). People are saying to give him a chance during these uncertain times - but it’s so unattractive to me his behaviour right now. Especially when I told him I was struggling and he ignored me, making sex jokes instead!

In short - I needed to hear this today and remind myself that I’m worth time & effort

100%. My LVM ex who lived 45 MINUTES AWAY was “too busy” for a relationship when I started med school and left me. Now he lives on the other side of the world and keeps hitting me up now that I’m successful like a decade later. Smh.
