There’s nothing you can put on your profile to filter out LVM or jokers. Men are taught to swipe right on most female profiles because most don’t get many matches. They then review any matches they get & reach out according to what they find attractive or think looks easy.

57% of people lie on their profiles about income, etc. 51% are already in relationships. They won’t mention living with roommates or having kids until further questions hence why we vet.

The most important thing is to feel them out for creepiness. If they are aggressive, make crude jokes, say bad things about women, aggressively ask for nudes, ask for snapchat (which is used to send/share temporary nudes), ask you to meet up instantly, neg you, say Netflix & chill, have pics of guns, other people’s kids (future faking), drugs, & or dick size comments then swipe left...but there’s several signs as they have developed strategies to get sex & dupe women.

Search FDS for Tinder, etc for examples & phrases they use on OLD & stories!

Also, do not put yourself at risk by agreeing to meet at their place 1st or vice versa. They can rape you & use your digital convo as proof of consent or some bs. Men use tinder as a fuck catalogue. Even if he has a profile on okc or hinge, he uses tinder to get a free escort and won't respect you.

Make a profile on all of them and if you see the same profile everywhere, block them.

Use modest, clear, recent pictures with a year-stamp (one face, one upper body, one full body) to weed out men who demand more pics.

Honestly, you'll collect more red flags than decent men. Spend a month documenting shit they say in the opening messages to learn their fuckery. If they make a sexual innuendo, they know what they're doing. You didn't misunderstand.

If they're not asking to take you on a date within 1-2 weeks they don't want to date.

HVM are on the apps for a very small window. If the man is on there for a year, he's LVM, time-wasting or married.

I have had quite a few good dates from OLD and quite a few bad dates. I learned to not have text-relationships before having an actual date, to vet early ( FaceTime or phone call), and know what kind of date I enjoy/want and hold the line ( your standards)! I know I love dinner, drinks, and dressing up so no hiking , biking, or sweating on the first date and I stick to it . I’ve had a lot of fun having dates I like and none of the men complained! The bad dates were with men who I wasn’t compatible with but I had a nice dinner and drinks regardless , I still had the kind of date I wanted and was comfortable with. As for photos , I take new photos every time I go back to OLD and I post photos I like , damn the men who want more photos or full body shots without taking a chance to meet up with me. There are men out there happy to take a chance and go out and have fun , they shouldn’t be heavily vetting you and bothering you for tons of photos ( odds are you’re not going to murder and rape them) . I do post photos of how I would look on a date , dressed up and make up , no group photos (don’t want to doxx my friends or myself by acquaintance). Nothing sexy or pouty lipped to give the idea I’m DTF on the first date , even if a guy does get lucky I don’t want him getting any ideas beforehand. There are literally thousands of LVM out there so don’t give an inch on what you want OLD to be and how it should work for you.

If we haven't made plans within a week of matching I delete. Watch out for guys looking for a texting buddy with no plans of meeting you. Also watch out for guys making plans for the following week, anytime I've had this happen they ghost me. Those guys are just using you as a texting buddy and or trying to keep their options open

No i don’t tell men upfront what I’m looking for in fact I outright stop writing anything in my profile. Empty except for my height and vague reference to job nothing personal.

My first filter is no hot pics, a couple of cute face pics or me smiling and a casual body pic. Just one. No cleavage no filters nothing sexy.

My second filter is the guys I swipe on. Any mention of what they’re NOT looking for, immediate discard.

Any mention of external or physical things they’re looking for (like must be fit, or i saw one say “someone with sex appeal”) also out.

Any reference to an “independent” woman. Nope. No 50-50. I take that one as a guy who wants a woman to pay her own way.

Same as: looking for a queen to build my empire, any reference to “open minded”, looking for the one (or anything that caters to thirsty women).

Out with any profile that’s just emojis or only has height typed out in the bio... despite the fact you can select your height.

Out when they only reference in bio is their job like “in finance” or “surgical resident”.

I know I don’t fill out mine but I don’t want a guy who thinks that’s his draw. Call me a hypocrite idc

Mirror pics, pics showing off abs in a mirror pic or things like that out.

Also out if “fluent in sarcasm” or “my strength is honesty” or any other euphemism for manipulation or verbal abuse. Same with any reference to no drama no games 🤮

Now for first messages i never message the match first.

If they are lazy just hey hi or hello. Delete.

If it’s a basic hows your weekend going depends on my mood that day AND how good his actual profile appears. I’ll engage.

If he leads with anything looks based im out: hello gorgeous, beautiful smile, stunning etc. Nope.

I just don’t do it anymore. I knew OLD was getting to be too much for me when people I knew in passing, in my neighborhood, were recognizing me on dating apps. I was very embarrassed!

Beware of guys that want to FaceTime. Especially if it's in his bio. Apple brand ambassadors are becoming more aggressive on old to try to bully us to get iPhones. Most apps have the option to video chat on the app so there's no need to use another platform. If his social media info is listed in his bio, he's probably an influencer looking for potential fans or customers. Once you follow them you'll see product placement in all his stories whether he's peddling his shitty SoundCloud, tiktok, fast food, booze or juul pods. Same if he wants to add you on snap or insta right away

OLD is awful, find a private member's club or some activity where you meet different people who are likely to meet your standards.

As for your profile. The usual pattern for scrotes is to not read your profile at all. They'll swipe right on all moderately attractive women. Contrast this to women who only swipe right on men with interesting profiles (because we read) and check for any obvious deal-breakers eg has kids (if the men are honest enough about that). So when there's a match the woman will get her hopes up a little bit because we assume men also read something interesting in the profile and checked for deal-breakers. The guy on the other hand, sees the match and then looks through your profile to determine how hard it would be to have sex with you. At this point if you're "attractive enough" they'll proceed, otherwise they'll un-match.

FDS made me not want to ever online date again

I quit because I had hundreds of matches but none of them ever went anywhere. Eventually I ran out of people due to the small population where I live. It became a chore to keep up chats with guys who were never going to get off their ass.

But if you really want to try... here are the tactics I used to get hundreds of matches:

Cute profile pics. Nothing revealing or sexy. I used a mix of selfies and body shots. Some casual, some nice. I tried to show off my personality a bit: glam selfie, nice dress, sporty/casual outfit, travel pic. I got matches from guys who supposedly also wanted to play tennis but never set up a game. Sigh.
I kept my bio short, sweet, and witty. Listed my interests and hobbies that might make good dates (ie: live music, tennis, travel, etc). Stated clearly what I was looking for.
Filtered out guys/matches based on the following:

—dead deer/animal trophy pics (I live in a rural area, so this is big)

—cargo shorts and t-shirt “style”

—girls and/or children in the picture (usually in a LTR or has a baby mama — they will lie and say it is not their kid)

—overweight/unhealthy looking

—men who were clearly lying about their age

—guys who made sexual innuendos in the first few chats

—dick pics

—any misc red flags (ie: living at home, dropped out of school, unemployed, video games, drugs, drama, emotional issues, etc)

—poor spelling/grammar

—questionable pics

—boring conversations or chats that went nowhere

I ran out of people locally so I started using it when I traveled to bigger cities. It just wasn’t worth it for me to keep “pen pals.” Meanwhile, guys here are all about huntin’, fishin’, and drankin’ Busch Light around the campfire and that just isn’t me. OLD wasn’t working out. I gave up and started focusing on my career.

I used to communicate my standards, but now I'm of the opinion that's giving a book of cheat codes to LVM. They'll lovebomb you and do what they think you want, and then they'll revert to what they would do anyway.

I prefer to save my time and see their real selves upfront - which is very easy if you listen more than you talk and observe their actions.

PS they don't actually read our descriptions, they swipe if they like the pictures.

FDS introduced me to the concept of only accepting lunch and dinner dates. I could see the sense in it as this could help filter out guys who are just after sex and don’t necessarily fancy my ‘look’ but will try and shag anyone for as little outlay as possible. But I was dubious that I could get dinner dates because OLD men always suggest coffee or drinks or some ‘activity’ they’re into (or walks but immediate block if they do).

I started to enjoy the challenge of negotiating up to lunch or dinner and now would never accept coffee or drinks dates! I also always vet with a phone call first and so I know even if I don’t fancy them when we meet I can enjoy their company for two hours over dinner. I have delightful dinner dates in cool restaurants and pubs now.

Spoiler alert: I believe the majority of men who have taken me out for dinner are still just after sex so it hasn’t filtered the fuckbois out just made them open their wallets. On the flip side I’ve dressed up & had fun evenings out with attentive men, not got dressed up just for a hurried coffee.

My profile has full length pics also showing two expensive hobbies and I say I like eating out and exploring new places to indicate my expectations. Some sites give you the option to answer questions like : “perfect first date/how to ask me out”. My answer is ‘lunch - the way to my heart is through my stomach’. I believe this is a key reason some guys ask me to lunch off the bat. Some of them do read your profile eventually!

But yeah, since FDS my OLD dates have been much more fun for me but they still turn out to be fuckbois or LVM in some other way.
