My Narc (narcissist) of an ex bf used to get in sly, insulting jabs all the time. They do it to keep you off balance, keep your self esteem low and have power & control over you. The fact he’s saying it repeatedly every day is probably designed to make you feel bad, every day. Dump that asshole, It’s not “going well” if he’s insulting you in a most hurtful way, every day. He’s putting you down to feel better himself. Maybe to use it against you when he eventually dumps you, because literally NO one says that to someone they love on a daily basis!

Thank god she's getting rid of him! I've known far too many women who've endured this kind of abuse then, when the reason (read: excuse) for their NVMs behaviour comes out, stay with them because "he had a hard childhood". 😩

My emotionally abusive ex once told me my breath smelled bad, and it did. I can't remember, but I think I was on some keto diet. But even he backtracked after saying it and said "But I know mine smells even worse, my mouth smells like shit all the time"

Telling a woman she smells bad is really offensive, even the most pickme woman will have murder in her eyes after you say that. I have a hard time believing any woman will go that far to prove how clean she is to a man who tells her she stinks on a DAILY basis. Scrotes can only dream of pickmes that devoted to winning their validation.

Honestly, I think a lot of women are more forgiving of cheating than a man telling them they smell bad. It's a really offensive thing to say, since women put a lot of effort into being clean.

If someone doesn't like your B.O - it is a sign that you aren't compatible biologically. Biologically compatible couples are attracted to each other B.O (not including the non-shower stink, that's different) and it smells especially good to them, even when others disagree. I can somewhat smell people B.O because of hyperosmia, and since I am smelling my friends (who I am not attracted to sexually), they smell.... not bad, kinda unique but does nothing to me. Also excess perfume usage will make your B.O smells funky AF, like I notice women end up smelling like men in serious case so use them sparingly ladies.

I recently switched to an aluminum-free deodorant and was having a hard time keeping on top of my summertime stinkiness after working 11 hour+ shifts and living in an apartment without central AC. I made a couple of jokes about being stinky and my HV boyfriend said “you have never smelled anything other than perfect, and even if you did smell bad I wouldn’t love you any less”. The way he came clean at the end. Wow! I can't believe she put up with that shit for over a year. My narc ex used to pick on my laugh until he got dumped. I gave him another chance and he started right back up. He negged me about quite a bit as he was grasping at straws to find something to lower my self esteem. Thankfully that's not possible.

I accidentally caught a wanna be fuckboi's interest a couple weeks ago. I'm not interested AT ALL but we have mutual friends and I've been polite. He sent me a long ass text offering me whatever I wanted from him: friends with him, a way to make friends through him, relationship, sex. It was a pathetic and bizarre text for sure. So I replied "wow that was a lot lol" and changed the subject. He never replied but I had to ask him about something else and his first sentence was "oh man I meant to respond to you but I've been so busy". Uh huh funny how all fuckbois use the exact same lines and pull all the same bullshit.

Whenever my ex-boyfriend and I saw a celebrity that was an attractive woman, he would sometimes point to her in front of me and say “She’s very very beautiful.” One time he even said that one female singer was prettier than me. I was so confused, and didn’t know if the hurt I felt was an overreaction or not, because he would say he was joking.

Regardless if it’s a joke or not, I don’t know why you would deliberately try to hurt your partner? Is it some type of ploy in order to gain control over you? I bet he doesn’t even remember saying that but I remember how hurt I felt in the moment.
