Whenever I see incels complain about women only chasing chads because we’re all superficial sluts, I really wonder if they have never seen a regular dude in a relationship. I can think of short, obese, ugly, not rich, any type of man, in relationships because honestly, most people are not super attractive or fit, and they still find partners.

Do they not have dads, brothers, uncles, cousins... that look normal and still have girlfriends or got married? When they go down the street, go to the supermarket, do they only see super fit dudes walking along their partners? The mental gymnastics needed to hate women this much and have so much entitlement are out of this world.

On one hand I like the message about getting a glow up. On the other, I think the beauty culture is tiring and can be so toxic. For women I mean. For men, the bar is below ground.

Men really don’t need to make a concerted effort into ‘glo-up’ they just need to have the control that women have had to have from day one. I know women with routines and regiments but their men don’t even put on spf, lest the sun think it makes them ‘gay’ 🙄

All they have to do physically: take supplements, drink water, eat something green with every meal, hit 10000 steps, moisturise / spf, get a haircut every 6 weeks, sleep enough, go to the dentist regularly, shower...properly and smell good.

Bare minimum.

Women have self-agency, men have entitlement. A typical incel believes that adult relationships owe him the unconditional love his mommy didn't give him. Just the way he is. Which, unfortunately, isn't the case and if men finally understood it, the dating scene would be a much better place.

This shows that men in general externalize their pain by emotionally dumping themselves on others and abusing others while women in general tend to internalize their pain by abusing themselves or by working through their issues. Men whine and cry in groups about not being asked out and talk about raping and killing all women, you would rarley to never hear a group of women say that. If a group of women says a man should be dead, it is because he is either a rapist or murderer, not because he doesn't sleep with us.

I think many men are against the idea of physical self-improvement due to misogyny. Care about appearance and efforts to change one’s appearance is regarded by extremely sexist males as a female-only quality thus these males are against it.

Women invest in themselves and keep on going the constant development. Men keep blaming everyone else for their shortcomings until their death beds.

I was bullied in school for a decade and I grew up in a violent household. I literally was the ugly duckling in school, and pretty much the only one with some Asian background in a school full of blue eyed blondes. But I became a beauty pageant winner, grew my self esteem and got a big circle of friends outside from school. What's their excuse???

Exactly. How many men do any of us know, who complain about not being able to get women, and their only downsides are that they're short and have ugly facial features? For me, the answer is ZERO. Almost all men who say that have some combination of either:

Being obese from overeating and being too lazy to get any exercise.

Being too skinny from being too lazy to even heat up a hot pocket or get any exercise.

Not getting out and making an effort to find a woman, and just hoping one falls in his lap.

Being unemployed and/or leeching off his parents.

Wearing ugly, ratty, poorly fitting clothes.

Being dirty (poor hygiene/disgusting living space).

Having terribly cut/maintained head and facial hair.

Being unpleasant to be around (weird, rude, loud, misogynistic, etc.)

Having an addiction (gaming, p*rn, weed, etc.)

They always have several of these problems that are free or cheap to fix, they just don't want to put in the effort. I've seen posts from incels where they show some horribly disfigured man and say something like "oH So aLl he NEeds Is A sHowEr, hUh?" implying that us "normies" grossly oversimplify their problems, but most incels are not horribly disfigured, they just want to blame their genetics for not being able to get laid, while they can't so much as buy an 88 cent bottle of Suave 2-in-1 to wash their hair and ass with.

I recently got back into gaming with lockdown and pandemic still going on, and was looking up tips on youtube to improve at the game I'm playing, which requires a bit of strategic thinking. And boy, was I stuck by the amount of dedication, analytical thinking & time men would put in those games and the content they made about it. If they put half of that into dating, relationships or just really life in general, our pool of dating would significantly improves. Men are fully capable at picking subtle signs, making time for betterment, they just don't care do it for other people, especially women.
