Nothing infuriates me like men talking about their wives in this way. Sometimes I like to follow up with “I’m sorry, are you on the verge of divorce or struggling with your marriage?” And they’ll occasionally realize this is not something you say about your loving partner.

Like let’s pretend marriage doesn’t benefit men the most, and married men are not more likely to get promoted, get paid higher and are respected more in society than single men, let’s project all that into women so they’ll feel the need to hurry up and get married and then we reap all the benefits

This goes right along with the “I can’t leave her because of the kids” logic. They keep a woman around and treat her like garbage because she provides stability, meanwhile they are still able to do everything they want. It’s disgusting, but honestly it’s the women who allow it by not setting the bar higher and not leaving when this kind of treatment is a pattern.

This is a massive pet peeve of mine when men whinge about their wife or even gf being a ball and chain. They want all the benefits of a relationship with a mommy bang maid, but refuse to make the smallest changes to their lives such as not fucking cheating!

Most married men are fucking children.

You need to tell them when to come in out of the rain beause they're so damned dependnt on their mommy wives to run their lives for them. They just expect their wives to do everything for them but chew their food.

Why do you THINK most of them will stay in a miserable marriage rather than leave and be on their own? Because they don't want to split the assets and they don't want to have to live on their own and cook their own meals and clean their own homes and schedule their own dental appointments and do their own laundry and parent their own kids for days at a time without anyone to hand them off to, and all the other hundreds of things their mommy wives always did FOR them.

That's why most of them STAY married for life and act like the sleazebags they ARE when they're out of her sight.

I remember VIVIDLY in college telling a guy that was making disgusting remarks about woman that his sexisism towards women was not helping society. He replied "with that attitude you are never going to get married." These guys think that getting married is a goal for women which they get no benefit from, so women should shut up and put up with the most aberrant behavior if they want the wedding. In a way he is right because I bet he found a woman that married him and raised kids for him.

Lol. My dad called me a few weeks ago on his wedding anniversary and went on a 15 minute rant about how much of a saint he is for putting up with this for so long and that he deserves a medal for it. Then he said it’s been 18 years, I guess that’s how long I stayed with your mother huh. As if I needed a reminder that he walked out on us and gave me some serious pickmeisha issues 🤦🏼‍♀️🥴 thank god for this sub or I’d still be there!
