That's something I learned after many errors. If he doesn't show love, he doesn't love. I'm proud of myself for walking away in my last situationship, I will never again let anyone mistreat me, romantically or otherwise.

I overheard a conversation the other day where a woman was asking her partner whether or not he wanted to get married. I went away and came back and she was still pushing him on setting a timeline/date. She was firm in some ways... She said he needed to be the one to decide. She wasn't going to force him. But I just wanted to tell her to come here and that she deserved better than trying to nail this man down and beg him for commitment. I got the sense they already have one child but I may have misunderstood my eavesdropping.

This. Once I realized that I didn’t need to keep investing energy into people who weren’t investing in me, my whole life turned around. If I don’t feel wanted, I go spend time with my friends and family who DO want me. Having your own social circle and interests has really helped increase my own sense of self-worth.

This is the TRUTH!! I know girls that would fight over guys and I could never. My LVM ex tried to triangulate me with my own friend (who he used to date years ago) even though she was MARRIED! He wanted me to bend over backwards to prove that I was better than her. He wanted me to perform tricks for his affection. Gross. He would constantly praise other girls who were the total opposite of me just to make me feel insecure, even though I have great qualities myself.

Eventually I decided that if he wanted a blonde girl with a Kim K body (I'm a petite brunette) then he could just go and find one. Cause you either want me or you don't. I just got sick of his PUA tactics and went radio silence after he broke up with me. He was soooo shocked that I didn't grovel or beg him to stay. I just simply moved on with my life. And it was so empowering. He really thought he could use mind games and manipulation to make me chase him. Him, a short, balding scrote with an ego the size of Montana. Lmao please

Seriously ladies... If he acts like he doesn't want you (especially if he's playing mind games) then just walk away! Men like this are insecure and are terrified of authentic connections. They are quaking in their boots at the prospect of vulnerability with a woman! To protect their fragile masculinity they resort to PUA tactics and try to control you instead of love you. What idiots. I would've loved my ex if he treated me like a human being and not a pet! He still wants me back but too little too late
