A true queen. Radiates Queen energy. Dropped her EX-fiancé because he wanted her to slow down her career while he continued is mediocre TV career. LOL tell that to her plethora of Grammys, golden globe, and Oscar. And one of the highest selling pop stars ever.

Ugh, I've had this quote in mind for nearly a decade since she first said it, but recently decided to follow a man because we were together for four years and I never thought he would wake up and tell me he didn't love me anymore, but surprise surprise, he did.

Now, I'm following my dreams and never ever ever ever putting a man first. This quote is so damn true, ladies. Even if you don't think he would ever stop loving you, that's just not fucking true. Never put a man before yourself and your dreams.

I really believe this is changing. If you don’t have a college education, a career, and your own interests outside of being a wife I feel like people will judge you big time. I have been out of work for the past 6 months due to personal stuff and I feel judged like “okay you’re going back to your career when?” “Why don’t you have your masters?” Lol

My mom and dad downright told me not to have kids for awhile and to pursue my dreams.

Also, I’m nearly 30 and no one has mentioned kids to me. 🤷‍♀️

Careers can up and walk away too - you could be laid off suddenly or even as a celebrity, you can fade away into irrelevancy if you don’t play your cards right. I think you should always work extremely hard and have a polished resume in the case of this, as nothing is 100% solid in life.

I don’t know if I fully agree. I followed my HV husband (then boyfriend) and not only am I personally happy, he helped me achieve greater dreams than I ever thought were possible prior to meeting him. Life isn’t black and white.

I believe we actually have a duty to follow our dreams. I believe it is the purpose of life. I also have figured out a way to figure out what your dreams may be. As I spent a long time feeling very confused on that.
