If they hate being short so much, they should normalize walking around in 5-inch stilettos. There is literally nothing stopping them except their own fragile masculinities.

Have you seen that German man that rocks skirts and shoes? I think he's called markbryan911 in Instagram, he has fine legs, I will tell you that

They should just get a height surgery, it's a real procedure.
Men out there genuinely expecting their partners to get boob, ass, and face surgery, forcing women into a thousand unrealistic body expectations, and they can't even handle a little cold.

They won't stop miserably complaining about "the risks". As If all the surgeries available to women don't have a million combined risks.

Okay, after seeing this I have no need to further scroll today.
T h a n k Y o u.
Now I must share.
My most memorable short fellow who was also under-endowed (My private nickname for him was "Tom Thumb") was 5'5" at best.
He did some things Right in the beginning so I gave it a chance.
HOWEVER, just a few months in, he was suggesting that I try cross-training, making comments about what I ate, and eventually -- when I openly said that he seemed to have some issues about my body -- admitted that his ExWife had had an ass that was "smaller and more toned."
To Be Clear: I was 5'4" tall and weighed 114 lbs at the time.
But it turns out his Ex was 5'0" and weighed 87 pounds.
Not ONLY did he hint that I could/should be thinner,
but he was constantly pushing for anal sex. which I don't enjoy, so we never went there.
And Yes: I reminded him, You DON'T get to INSULT it , then expect to fuck it.
(AuDaCiTy, Much?)
After a few conversations in which I called him on his bizarre view of my body, he said that he "just loved that classic female silhouette, you know, where the shoulders narrow down to the hips like a V."
?!?!!
I of course reminded him that that was a classic MALE silhouette and he was either a pedophile or a closet case.
Ultimately, for these reasons and more (his superior financial status, so that when we weren't in agreement on where we would live he said to me about his preference vs mine: "Beggars can't be Choosers" ),
I ended it.

My shortest boyfriend was also the one who spent the most time suggesting improvements for my body. They fixate on getting the most stick-thin woman possible, they absolutely do want an androgynous 12 year old boy's body with d-cups bolted on.
I was below 90 pounds once, and that boyfriend still was after me to exercise more and lose more weight, and told me I should get implants. 😰

Just. Wow.
Truly, I (older, 57 y/o) spent too many years thinking I needed to be "fair" and give shorter men a chance regardless of my attraction/lack thereof.
WASTE o f T i m e!! And I tell my daughters nonstop not to DARE Settle.
Settling is for, Well.. SEDIMENT. And what is sediment? It is just pond scum or microscopic flotsam that is aimlessly floating in stale waterways. Do. Not. Be. Sediment.
Show me something that "settles" or "Goes With the Flow" in Nature and I'll show you Pond Scum OR a Dead Fish.
And, as you note:
A short male pattern behavior, again confirmed. "Oh Hurr Durr.. . This will not Do!! I feel less-than so someone must pay. My personal physical limitations must be projected onto the woman in my life to be interpreted as her own problems to fix!"
..sigh.
I am exhausted, retrospectively, on your behalf.
Glad you are free. Stay that way.

Thanks. I agree, truly. It's pointless to settle, they will absolutely take their insecurities out on their girlfriends.

I'm almost 5'7" and dated a guy that was 5'6". He was really good looking and we had a lot of shared interests. After a few dates he told me it made him uncomfortable for him when I wore heels. I needed to wear flats. I bought flats. I was still too tall. He became demeaning and made me feel like shit for my hight, all his ex's were tiny petite women. I was just this huge ogre at a size four.
Meanwhile my best friend dated a guy who was 5'5, she was 5'9" and he LOVED when she wore heels.
Security in a man is a huge turn on. My short guy was far better looking, but very insecure. Her guy was ok in looks, but his security made him so much more attractive.
[–]BoxingChoirgalFDS Newbie 14 points15 points16 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You are so right. I know of a very happy long term marriage, between a 5'9" woman and a 5'4" man. He's not especially good looking either. His loving and happy/self confident attitude made his height and other less than perfect attributes irrelevant. He has always adored her and Has sometimes even joked about their high difference.. I remember when He went through a bow tie phase. She gently said perhaps you want to wear a tie that would have a more lengthening effect on your torso.. He looked at the others in the room and started laughing saying " I think my wife thinks I'm short." One of the happiest couples I know.

Yes, that's the real issue with short men. I don't give a flying flip about a guy's height, but experience has taught me that they're often insecure, and they dump that insecurity on the women they're dating.
[–]BusinessTwistofLimeFDS Newbie 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I had a similar situation as you! Not only were heels not enough but my posture was too straight for him. He encouraged me to slouch so that I would look the same height as him even though slouching is TERRIBLE for you! Literally this guy wanted me to injure myself for his insecurities. 🤦♀️

Da fuq
admitted that his ExWife had had an ass that was "smaller and more toned."
He was still hung up about his ex and secretly wanted to transform you into her.
I know men who go for the same traits as "the love of their lives".
For example: she was average heigh, hair dyed red, glasses, cute face, medium sized boobs, curves
But she: liked expensive things, had a passion for designer bags and state of the art technology
When she dumped him: he'll be looking for similar body types, similar face, glasses, red hair or not, he will push the girl to dye her hair red and change the glasses to something his ex would wear. If she had long hair, and you have short hair, they'll "kindly" ask you to dye it that shade of red and let it long.
The thing he'll try and weed out: she must not spend on designer clothes ( what he didn't like about his ex) but she must be hot and look put together with minimal effort.
🤡 Had this happen to me in real life. I understood when I saw the ex.
Also, interesting discovery: the ex dyed her hair because he suggested it. He wanted her to look like one of the characters in a game (horizon zero dawn, which features a redhead).

Eww. My ex bought me the same hat as some MySpace (I'm old) girl he was lusting after. Then, he kept insisting I cut my almost waist-length hair to a pixie cut. Relentlessly. I constantly got comments on how beautiful my hair was. He constantly wanted me to cut it off.
After I left him, I checked out the Facebook posts of like seven of the women he dated after me. They all posted selfies of their newly short haircuts. Usually in his bathroom. He talked them all into cutting off their hair. He hated that I wouldn't cut mine.

Spot on. You can add men complaining about dating costs, job market, missed promotion, salary, lack of time, kids, family, housework, etc etc. It's interchangable with men complaining about anything really

I’ve never met a man who complained about hEiGhTiSm who didn’t also say he was an ass/boob man and admit to watching specific race/appearance fetish porn. They can watch big butt porn, ebony, Asian, blonde, big boob, red head, hijab, and petit porn, but don’t you dare prefer a man taller than 5’4. Don’t you know that’s discrimination you dumb fEmALeS?!?!

Yeah, every short guy with a complex who complained about hEiGhTiSm that I've ever met in my life was a truly grotesque human being. They could be 6 feet tall and no woman in her right mind would want them if the personality was still the same. Not to mention that there are women out there who prefer shorter men, or don't care about height either way - and "all woman are wh0res, Chad is heightmogging me" is the certified #1 way to chase those women off and make them never become interested in you.
Short men without the complex are just fine. I've known three like that - all vastly different personalities, but fun to be around and genuinely nice. One of them often joked about it but in a non-self-deprecating and genuinely charming way, not a bitter way where it was directed at women or himself negatively. That was refreshing from the typical "woe is me" stuff that they usually say.
One short guy didn't even believe me when I told him that I have always been primarily interested in men who are closer to my height. He told me that I was making it up to try to make him feel better, and my first thought was - really? How are you ever going to get a girl to start liking you with that attitude?

raises hand I'm 5'5" and don't care about height...but if a guy started whining about "height discrimination" to me, or saying that I "couldn't" wear heels around him, I'd be out of there so fast, it would make his head spin.

Men don't just have standards. Men invent standards that intentionally make no fucking sense. You want naturally huge tits but also don't like tits that hang? Make that make sense. You like naturally thick women but don't like cellulite? You like curves and hate stretch marks? You like little waists but don't like skinny women?
They hate on every woman for something.

The contradiction is the standard. They don't care what our bodies actually look like, the just want to make us feel like shit and change for them.
